Bonum vinum laetificat cor hominis.
This had completely passed me by, as it seemed from the club's attitude in January that we were waving farewell to him for good, but it appears Georgios Samaras is still very much our player. Apparently we sent him on loan to Al-Hilal with an option to buy, and that option's now been declined. He's got a year left on his contract with us, so presumably will be reporting for pre-season in July with the rest of the squad.

I'm guessing there's no way back for him having been a non-starter under Irvine and totally bombed out by Pulis, so I suppose we'll be looking to shift him over summer.

Sorry if it's been mentioned before but, the BBC are now reporting that Graham Dorrens has definitely been signed by Norwich following his loan period.
The sum of £2M is being suggested.

Good luck Graham but, just don't score against us next season.
Some days I'm top dog, most days I'm just the lamp post.
Let's face it. It was going to happen. We are linked to Peter Crouch http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/fo...is-9336308?
More promising

More links this morning with Peter Crouch. I think we need to get used to reports having us signing anyone who's played for Palace or ever visited Stoke.
Lets just hope there is nothing in the Crouch rumour, unless it is as a back up striker.  34 years old, goal to game ratio falling year on year, down to 10 last season.  Can not help but think, that the price and wage for Crouch he would only come as number 1 striker as he would be to expensive as a back up.  As for Richards if he is still half the player he was he would be a good addition and if he does not cut the mustard we can always get him to make some more films like that one with Ishmael Miller and we could sell them Whistle
Roope and Jones have also gone >>> and away.
