Madsteve's Midweek Quiz - 27 May 2015
#1
This is the first of up to eight quizzes to fill the gap across the summer.

The rules are the same as always but I will repeat them as this is the first week this year.

This is a fun quiz where the idea is to have as many guesses as possible. Most answers can be guessed.

Every attempt must include an answer for every question. I will then say how many correct answers have been achieved. A point will be awarded to the person who achieves a new high score so potentially eight points could be awarded each week.

Use of the internet to obtain answers is frowned upon as it is not in the spirit of the game - a bit like Leeds Utd.

Bonus Points may be awarded for imaginative incorrect answers.

Madsteve's decision is final, even if he is wrong.

1. Which TV series of over 100 episodes had the title of the series mentioned in every episode?

2. What is the connection between Jerry Hall, Priscilla Presley, Josie Lawrence, Sue Pollard, Lesley Joseph & Linda Robson in 2014?

3. Mixed Up OWLS - "A CAB SNEERED PRIOR INJURY" Solve the anagram!

4. What connects SL4 1NJ, EH8 8DX, AB35 5TB, PE35 6EN & SW1A 1AA?

5. Which football ground has the biggest video screens in Europe inside it?

6. Who is next in this series? - Colin Montgomerie - Jim Furyk - Padraig Harrington - Dustin Johnson - Graeme McDowell

7. What was Wendy Partridge the first person in Britain to do on a TV game show?

8. What connects Villa (1887), Spurs (1901), Villa (1905), Bolton (1929), Wednesday (1935), Preston (1937), Blackpool (1948), Newcastle (1951), Bolton (1953), Preston (1954), West Brom (1968) & Chelsea (1970)?

Good Luck & Have Fun!

Nothing great will ever be achieved without great men, and men are great only if they are determined to be so. For glory gives herself only to those who have always dreamed of her.
