Well I guess the manager should be sacked and they need to spend 400M on new players as they might finish as low down as fourth!

Yes a lot of money has been spent and not always wisely, all EPL teams "Should" have an English backbone, not exactly bad at unearthing players at Man C either over the years

Toure has been a scapegoat somewhat but hasnt lived upto last year, 250K pw for 5 years for a 31 year old was a daft contract anyway

Even the likes of Zabaleta and Kompany have had dodgy periods this year, Silva`Hart`Aguero and Milner the best

So how do Man C turn it round without spending a Billion?

Manager and players dont go that bad overnight but there are a few sales there to balance the books, what about some swap deals rather than just spend?

Why isnt Micah Richards(Good enough for Serie A) brought back to play RB or CB? a player who wants to play for the club?

Gudetti is another who has banged goals for fun in the SPL and Erdeviste, even as back up to Aguero and Bony?

To answer your question in the middle, they won't turn it around without spending a fortune because thats all they know how to do it!! Arsenal lead the way in at least limiting their spending and still having some success. Problem is the same clubs that complain about transfer fees are the ones agreeing to silly offers and silly contracts for the players in the first place. With the new Sky deal I don't see that changing soon!!

Notice Karim Rekik was part of PSV`s impressive title winning team at Centre Back and has made his full debut for Holland, OK he is young but has good experienced players to play with/learn from
