If Saido Berahino goes to Manchester City, he will be a bench warmer behind Aguero and Bony. He will, however, play in their Second XI in League Cup games.

Maybe he is the player that was mentioned previous i.e. To be bought by another club but to remain on loan with us for another season. It makes sense. Man City secure an English Striker with future potential but see him develop rather than rot on the bench.

If we did this deal it warm relations between the clubs and bring in other players.......

No PL club can sign Berahino and loan him back to us in the same window, it is against the rules.

Man City or whoever it is could arrange to sign him on a specific date at the end of next season rather than sign him during the summer, i would of thought that would be able to happen no problems but i don't see it happening anyway why would a club shell out that sort of money on a player when they already know he's capable of scoring in the Premier League totally different to Lukaku who was an unknown quantity in the Prem when we had him

Can someone put me straight about the transfer window, please - how come Manure can sign this Depay bloke at this stage of the season? BBC reporting they expect to complete it next week. Is Manchester in a different time zone?
