Is it your site? Hopefully we'll do a better job this summer.

No sportinastorm isn't my site btb. I found the Pocognoli link on google which I thought my interest you guys and then I saw the other 3 articles which I decided to post as well.
In case you guys don't know him, Jonathas is a tall, Brazilian target man who, as well as leading the line, likes to drop into deep or wide positions to create space for the other attacking players. I think Ideye, Berahino, McManaman, Sessegnon and any other attacking players we sign would enjoy playing in the team with him.

A lot of people mention that Pulis likes taller players, but I'm wondering if there's any truth in it?
Obviously he does like a target man, he's signed Crouch, Kenwyne Jones, Dave Kitson and a few others for that role...
But he's had his fair share of short players elsewhere in the side...
I seem to remember Andy Griffin being a favorite for years, he was a right midget...
Jermaine Pennant, Matty Ethrington, Jon Walters were all tricky wingers...
He signed Tuncay who was purely a technical forward.
Charlie Adam, who's reputation was as a marauding, goalscoring attacking midfielder from his time at Blackpool.
Be interesting in the summer to see if we sign a bunch of giants as predicted. I think Callum McManaman is only
around 5'8-5'9.

I have been meaning to post this but haven't had chance to because of work. In the Sun Newspaper on Sunday, Albion were linked with Mitchell Langerak from Borussia Dortmund. The newspaper had a long article about it but I can't find it online. The link is also on the Daily Star website and on football 365 but only in short.
http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/footbal...l-15m-RAID
http://www.football365.com/news/2483/982...t-Gundogan
The article says the following:
"West Brom boss Tony Pulis wants Aussie keeper Mitchell Langerak from Borussia Dortmund to put the heat on Ben Foster".
Langerak is 26 and is Australia's 2nd choice goalkeeper behind Club Brugge's Matthew Ryan. He was signed by Dortmund to be the eventual replacement for Roman Weidenfeller but nearly 5 years on, he is still the number 2 because of Weidenfeller's form ever since. Weidenfeller's form led to him being called up to the German side even though he is in his mid thirties.

I was said in jest tbh, but the main positions we obviously need strengthening are full backs and given his choice now and in the past. I can see us going all out to try and bring in some back defenders. Pulis has shown in the past he does bring in smaller quicker players, but not at the back.
Saying that if we do manage to somehow bring Richards in as full back I could see him as a pulis type player, FB/CB solid and decent in the air.

Not sure if its been mentioned but i can't remember seeing it, I did notice Adam Campbell in the squad yesterday but just presumed it was a Adam Campbell we already had at the club
http://www.themag.co.uk/2015/04/newcastl...-campbell/
West Brom appear in pole position to sign striker Adam Campbell after the Newcastle United prospect went on trial with the Baggies yesterday.
Campbell was named in the starting line-up for West Brom's 3-0 win over Arsenal, with the Gunners' official website confirming it was indeed the Newcastle United forward.
The forward played an hour in the victory, and provided the pass for strike partner Adil Nabi to net his second of the game early in the second half.
Campbell's future at Newcastle is officially undetermined, with his contract set to expire at the end of the current season.
The fact the 20-year-old was permitted to go on trial suggests he does not have a future at the club, and is likely to be released imminently.
Campbell has represented England at under-16, under-17, and under-19 levels, and has made a total of five first team appearances for Newcastle United, twice in the Europa League and three times in the Premier League, but they all came last season.
He has 12 goals and eight assists in 30 under-21 games to his name for Newcastle, and was named on the bench for the FA Cup loss to Leicester earlier this year

Some interesting comments from the Geordie nation on that article:
"Another Andy Carroll style deal, someone needs to kick that FCB out." (Presumably comparing losing Campbell to having sold Carroll in 2011. For those who don't speak Geordie, "FCB" = Fat Cockney Bastard, i.e. Mike Ashley)
"Pardewed!" (Implication that Alan Pardew either held back Campbell's progress or just froze him out of the team)
"I remember watching him in under 17's in Ireland and he looked quality! Think we will regret this one getting away. West Brom aren't mugs so could be a great move for him. All the best fella."
"Proper coaching will help his chances of making it."
"Surprised at this - thought that he had a longer term contract at Newcastle. Just typical of our club at the moment."
"I would rather spend a holiday in Tuscany than in the Black Country, but if I were compelled to choose between living in West Bromwich or Florence, I should make straight for West Bromwich." - J.B. Priestley
