For those too young to remember this, when video tapes first came out there were two versions on the market, BetaMax and VHS.  Fairly quickly VHS won as the standard and Betamax was consigned to collectors!!!

I remember betamax. Watched Officer and a Gentleman loads of times on betamax.

I remember VHS tapes. I used to mess about with the labels and numbers you used to get on the blank VHS tapes. Its like those people who have never had to use a biro to roll a cassette tape back when it unravelled.
