Best part about that result tonight was it pushes Bournemouth down a bit more. Bit of a gap now from 2nd to 3rd and only one point separates 3rd to 7th. Really don't want Bournemouth to get promoted, so happy to see them drop further!!

I dont want them to go up, mainly because I was meant to be going this year but have had to cancel plans Thumb down but partly because it would be ANOTHER team who has been rewarded for going into admin Angry

While I agree with your logic, the problem is that over 50 clubs in the FL have been in admin at some point or another!!  The list does include Bournemouth (twice) but also includes Derby, Boro and Ipswich!!!  So we now want Watford, Norwich and Brentford to go up!! Big Grin

Of course the other side is that there are currently 5 prem teams on the list as well - Palace (x2 - 1998 & 2010), Hull (2001), QPR (2001), Leicester (2002) and Southampton (2009) - all of whom have managed to get promoted in recent years as well.

I see Lewis Baker has joined MK Dons from Chelsea. Definitely doesn't bode well for future loan signings from Chelsea.

Mr Chansiri & Mandaric to hold press conference on Monday the Sheffield Star are reporting, they are also suggesting the Takeover could be ratified in the next few days due to the press conference being arranged.

MK is a favourite club for big clubs to loan their promising players to. They have had Afobe from Arsenal, Ali from Spurs & Bamford drom Chelsea in the last year or so.

Wednesday will be off Arsenal & Chelsea's list while SG is manager. At least we are starting Keane each match so are keeping Man Utd on side.

I don't care if we piss other clubs off because we aren't playing people. If the players aren't cutting it for us then they shouldn't be playing. If that means Wenger and Mourinho get pissed off then so be it and if they've still got issues with it then they can come talk to me and I'll kick them all the way back down the A1 Thumb up

Why not? I think it's good for a small club like that to succeed. Better than seeing the same crop of established clubs with name recognition go up.

If we piss of the big clubs then we will all be bemoaning the fact that other clubs get better loan players. In fact we are already doing it and it is because SG doesn't have a good enough relationship with the biggest clubs.

If we had treated Afobe right at the back end of last season when we were already safe & played him up front rather than Leon Best then we might have discovered that he could be a prolific goal scorer rather than keeping him on the bench then playing him for ten minutes on the wing.

Getting the best loan players makes all the difference if you want to get promoted. Derby have just loaned Bent, Ince & Lingard. In the last year they have also had Thorne, Wisdom, Ibe & Bamford, all on at least half season loans. We haven't had any player of that quality on a loan of that length since we got promoted, probably Helan was the best.

Sure we don't want to play players that aren't going to cut it. Well if they aren't going to cut it, don't get them in the first place. SG said how good Baker was & how he had been tracking him for a year then he gives him a start, drops him to the bench then banishes him. Was he wrong in his judgement or was he just talking bollocks to get fans on side?

Fair enough Thurnscoe, I agree, if they aren't cutting it for us then ship them back, we are all for that. How do we know after what 2 games he had with us ?? Was it even two games ?? I think it says more about SG that he seemingly wanted to get him in, then does but doesn't play him. Why bother getting him in the first place ?? Does SG know what he is trying to achieve here ?? OR..... Did SG even want him ?? If not well then we won't get very far and we will piss off a whole load of clubs that could potentially loan us decent players that would help in a promotion push. Either way it doesn't look positive on us. One thing Baker would have done thou was create competition for places.

You got in there before me MS
