Definitely a red card, having seen the replay. Didn't think so at the time. Thought it was another cheating Rotherham con job. But no.

Stupid boy!

As for Josh Koroma. Bojangles has put that one on a plate for you, mate.

Take it first time. If the keeper saves it, fair enough. But take a touch, try to go around him and let two defenders get back on the line. No.

Mate, you ain't Marcus Stewart.

Yesterday was just like watching the Burton game all over again, laboured without much of a spark. Another injury to add to the books and a suspension for the new lads see us short on numbers in the coming week.

So my question is, when our left sided centre back goes off injured in the first couple of minutes why did we not bring on our new left sided defender at that point?

Further question, when we did bring our left sided defender later in the game then why didn’t we play him at leftback rather than having a right back at leftback?

Apparently, due to work permit restrictions, Rooskens couldn't train with everybody else until the final training session had ended. Still should've come on though.

Having said that. Maybe not. His first action saw him chasing an opponent, way out of position. That left our left hand side exposed with an unmarked attacker just waiting for a better pass than he eventually got.

Second action, he got sent off.

Jacob Chapman got man of the match, which is odd as he had very little to do. One good save, yes, but......

Others had good games.

Marshall, that tackle near the end, brilliant. But he was pushed out wide too much and had lttle impact on the game.

Koroma, some neat touches and setting up chances, but that miss!!

Bojangles, also had some neat touches. Set up Koroma for that miss, which shudda been the winning goal. But in general, nowhere near good enough for a number 9.

Turton, came on early doors, cold, but soon got into it. Linked up well with midfield and attack and defensively sound.

Helik probably shaded it for me. Was the main reason that Chapman had nowt to do. Had a great header cleared off the line and then was just there to put the winner in late on, before Bojangles got in the way, fluffed it and the ball went behind him.
