So Fellows, should we sell him? I’ve been watching him closely over last few games and yes he’s got assists. But…..
Is he a one trick pony that decent defenders are now sussing out and are we actually negating other attacking options by the predictable get it out wide on the right build up every time?
He needs to be stronger and gets pushed off the ball too much for me. Often with through balls he gets there first and has a bad first touch or his shot is tame or off target.

I think we should cash in while we can but am I being too harsh?

I expect it to be an unpopular opinion, but I do agree that now could be the best time to sell Fellows.

Do I think he's a good player? Yes.

Do I think he has what it takes to be a real top star? I'm not so sure...

Don't get me wrong, he's excellent when he's on the touchline, ball at feet, one-on-one with the fullback. He's got that great jink on the outside and puts a good cross in. It's proved massively fruitful.

However, other elements of his game seem quite ordinary. He doesn't look at all natural when cutting in on his left foot. He can't dribble through the pitch as his only trick is his stop-start motion, jinking outside the full back with that injection of pace. He doesn't really seem to have an eye for a pass or look to interplay with the strikers.

His departure would weaken us. However, at £12-£15m, we would be getting good money for a player of his calibre in my opinion. That money could be invested and get us 2-3 good players. We could benefit from having a whole greater than some of the parts.

Of course, he's only 21 and the weaker parts of his game could develop. I'm sure he will get stronger. However, at the same time, if he was to lose that 2-3 yard injection of pace, he'd be worth a lot less. Now could be the time to get the best money for him, while he's riding the crest of a wave.

Is Fellows a one trick pony? I would say "Who cares", the numbers don't lie, 8 assists or 9 if you count todays rebound and we are only halfway thorough the season. The highest in the division, I believe, if you are talking about selling just to cash in, fair enough, but when it comes to questioning what he brings to the squad, that I don't think that can be questioned, and I am sure if he is sold his contributions would be greatly missed, mind you we could get Wallace running up and down the wing again for as long as his legs will last.

I wish we'd hung on to Chris Wood....

It’s always a gamble, we have held on to players, they’ve either gone for free, their values dropped or they’ve not developed as we hoped. On the other foot, we have off loaded players whose development had stalled only for them to bloom later somewhere else, Chris Wood for example. Coupled with all our stolen youth players …. And you get where we are today.

Stick or twist? I wouldn’t like to call it.

But if Fellows and Maja go for £30 million combined and another 3 for King Carlos, that would go a long way to buying three or four players, building a squad for the new boss and easing our financial situation.

I have to say that love him as much as I do if big money can be got for Fellows then I would take it.

I feel much the same for Maja. If only there was also a if money big for Dike.

McNair gone back to parent club.

Assuming that after being left out today, Lewis Dobbin will be going back to Villa? Hopefully, as that's been a real damp squib of a Prem loan.
