Here's the Christmas thread in Remberance of Madsteve.
I'll start my ramble with last Christmas which was unexpected at the time! a very good one under DR. We won 4 and lost 3 of the 7 games this made sure we avoided relegation later on in the season
We lost our Boxing day Fixture at Coventry for the first time in many occasions and Cardiff upset us at Hillsborough but in all like the Christmas before nothing much to complain about
This Christmas will see us take on yet again familiar opponents we always seem to get at this period PNE infact is on the exact date and time of the last Fixture and this year sees us playing them twice in as many weeks, if we counted the Derby fixture on new years day in the thread then this is also the case! Middleborough away on Boxing day isn't the first time either and Stoke also pops up as a regular Christmas theme
So with all this taken into account personally I see a lot of draws taking place but hopefully we can win more as on paper these are the easiest fixtures we are going to get in the championship although we all know it means absaloutley bugger all
The hardest picks I'm going for Derby and Middlesbrough away and the easiest I'm going for Preston and Stoke at home
This thread is post Cardiff Hull fixtures but after getting over the pig loss it does look a lot brighter than last season where we looked hung drawn and quartered completely The clown is still chairman though and my thoughts are still the same! Untill he's sold up we are not moving forward and I fear DR won't be with us next Christmas should it be the case
