Great thread, jjamez.

Definitely brown sauce for me - a good splurge on a slice of Lorne sausage in a white roll. If you really want to go upmarket to fine dining you can add a slice of black pudding and a fried egg (not too runny).

Films? - not watched many in the last 25 years. Best comedies for me will be Blazing Saddles, What's Up Doc, Some Like It Hot, Over The Hedge and Goldfinger (well, it is a bit far-fetched). Best serious ones would be Deliverance, The French Connection, Jurassic Park (also far-fetched but full of tension), Shadowlands and Schindler's List.

Don't use attachments much myself jjamez other than in things like the P4P thread to list the squads etc. We just have to click on 'em to blow them up. Sometimes if you hover your mouse or right ick by the top right corner you get the choice to select from large or small, but that might just be pics inmported from the likes of Imgur.

If I'm teaching grannies to suck eggs with what I'm about to post below - scramble'em, with butter, some pepper and some crumby Wensleydale. They taste 'uggins better than using that 'orrible veg oil stuff.

General hint or help. AmChaff put me onto this one, eons ago because Google Images was and probably still is basically, crap.

For Imgur, set up an account or just go for a new post - https://imgur.com/
Use the Microsoft Snipping Tool to cut the image you want from a web page (if you can't save the original image) and save it to your hard drive. Pictures off websites you can normally just paste the image address. Tables and the likes off stats websites you need to create/cut the image as if you try to save it you'll find it's in html or some other web code. I've found png saved images work better than bmp images for PFP this season, they don't blur as much. Only took me about 10 seasons to work that one out.
Open File Explorer where you saved the above image.
Create a new post in Imgur and drag the image you made from File Explorer to the new post. I asssume you're familiar with drag 'n' drop.
Go to the top right corner of the image now in Imgur where it then comes up with Copy Link and from the 3 dots drop down select Get share links.
Pick BBCCode (Forums) and then you don't need to use the Select Image icon to paste the link in your post.
You can save your Imgur pics to folders if you wish, I'm sue you'll work out how that one works.

Ther's also an Android version which was a pain in the arse to try and do this with but now more or ss works the same way - you need to save the image to your Android/Apple thingy and pull it back in from there.

Huddersfield Town Head Coach Michael Duff has made one change this evening in North Wales, with Ollie Turton replacing Lasse Sorensen in the starting side against Wrexham.

Subsequently, the first change on the bench sees Brodie Spencer return to the squad following international commitments, with Rhys Healey also taking the place of Freddie Ladapo.

Otherwise the Terriers remain unchanged from Saturday’s impressive 3-1 home win over Bristol Rovers, with Jacob Chapman remaining in goal on his birthday and goalscorers Matty Pearson, Callum Paterson and Bojan Radulovic retaining their places in the side.

Welsh youth international Chris Maxwell returns to the club where his academy career began too, with the goalkeeper going on to make 76 appearances in North Wales between 2008-2012 after first signing for the side around his 10th birthday.

If it's any help, I save the image I want to use to one of my folders, then use "postimages" website to post into this thread - 320x240 for the image I posted above OR 640x480 if you want a bigger one (oo'er missus) with no expiration date. Then choose the image you want and then click on the appropriate blue icon on the right to have it ready. I always use the 3rd one from the bottom "Hotlink For Forums" to copy it and it should be ready to paste with a single right click onto the thread.

I usually double check the Preview Post on here to make sure it comes out the way you want it to. It's maybe not the best nor most efficient way to do it, but it works for me. Thumb up Special mention to either Snooty or Amelia (can't remember which one) who put me on the right track many moons ago.

Fair point tonight methinks. For a side that concedes possession they didn't concede much of it in the first half. That there were only 4 shots on target and we had 3 of them sums the game up.

Of the multiple sides below us that could have caught us, only Reading won. Told you they can't all win.

Not sure who the common tater was on Sky tonight, he didn't sound Welsh but he was definitely a homer. I should have turned the sound off. You get similar crap on the radio in Cardiff and certain clubs in Muddled England. Only ever one team on the pitch no matter how piss poor everyone can see they are.

He definitely started sounding Welsh in the second half and I mean that genuinely, there was the odd word here and there that kept cropping up. On the football I think first half wrecsam were the best side, second half I think we were the better side, we had the better opportunities but they were few and far between for both sides.

On the films, in no particular order, interstellar, inception, the dark knight and the prestige, all from Christopher Nolan, I think he is a great film maker and with him being so picky about what he makes, it tends to result in something elite. Shutter island and the departed by Martin Scorsese, both very twisty and probably the films that di caprio actually deserved an oscar for, or wolf of wall street also by scorsese. Gladiator and the martian by Ridley scott, one is an epic that I don't know how to feel about the sequel, the other is just a good film. The bourne trilogy, hard to pick between them but I'd lean towards supremacy by Paul green grass and Logan by James mangold.

I do also really like gone girl and it would be right up there for me, it's a great thriller if you have never seen it. I am a marvel fan, winter soldier and civil war are good films in their own right and the infinity war and endgame combo were massive cinematic feats in their own right, marvel has not been the same since. I do like bond films too, but I'd say casino royale with Daniel Craig or Skyfall are the best of the bunch. I also recommend prisoners and arrival by Denis Villeneuve both are very good films that both can get you thinking. Snatch is the comedy film that I turn to quite often but there's quite a few others that I rate, same with Clint Eastwood films likes invictus and American sniper, it's sad he's so old as he is a very good director, probably better than he was an actor

Sorensen is out for 8 weeks. Turton is OK. Just went off with cramp.
