Huddersfield Town Head Coach Michael Duff has named his side for this evening’s Bristol Street Motors Trophy group stage game against Barnsley; 7.45pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.

The side exclusively features members of the First Team squad, with several making their returns from recent injuries.

Chris Maxwell, who has missed time recently due to illness, starts in goal tonight, whilst former Barnsley midfielder Herbie Kane starts against his former club.

Strikers Rhys Healey and Danny Ward are among the substitutes tonight too, returning from their injury lay-offs.

Brodie Spencer and Callum Marshall are now on international duty with Northern Ireland, whilst Joe Hodge is being assessed by the Republic of Ireland Under-21 team after coming off in Saturday’s win over the Tykes.

Best way to defend a 1-0 lead? Score another.

Wardy 2-0

Once again, Iorpenda shone when he came on. He has to be in the team more often.

Well we had 25 shots last night and totally dominated the game and looked very impressive against a young, inexperienced Barnsley side. Our squad once again looks like a squad capable of going places, but let's not get carried away........
