LAST MATCH

Well in true Wednesday fashion we threw away 3 points after taking the lead in injury time. We were the better team in the first half and had a number of chances but our finishing let us down. Onto the 2nd half and we struggled to create much while QPR had a a few chances but didn't test Beadle. Then as we went into injury time Smith knocked down for Bannan to finish beautifully from the edge of the box. But our joy didn't last long, QPR won a corner and after a mad scramble the ball was put in our net.

THE MATCH

Next up and back to the Carabao Cup as we head to the seaside to take on Blackpool. The Tangerines have made a disappointing start to the season with just 1 win in 5 which saw there manager Neil Critchley sacked, to be replaced by former Owls boss Steve Bruce, who won his first game in charge on Saturday. Another former Owl is on there books, Jordan Rhodes, who assisted there winner on Saturday.
