Hibs welcome the Perth Saints to Easter Road on Saturday with a better than 50/50 chance to throw away more points in a game we should win. But never fear, I think this is the one to kick-start our season with an impressive win. BUT (and there's a lot of buts) we must take advantage of our expected scoring chances and stop giving away stupid goals, most of which are down to appalling individual errors.

Kieron Bowie was taken off the pitch with a hamstring injury after half-an-hour during the Scottish Under-21's win against Malta, so that is the first negative for Saturday. Let's hope there are no more.

Off the pitch, BBC Sport reports on the tenure of Ian Gordon and the mistakes made since the family took over.

Now that shouldn't necessarily affect today's players, but the constant merry-go-round of staff and players has had a negative impact over the years.

And it's more than one negative for Bowie, as he's been ruled out until 2025. Set against that, it looks as though Youan and Hoilett will get some game time tomorrow.

We're getting better all the time with a 2-0 win and, if we can improve again next week, the signs are looking good. Boyle and Hoillett made all the difference and were greatly helped by a defence that didn't self-destruct. I like the look of Kwon as well - gets into good positions, just needs to get his shooting boots on.

Pleased with that - 2nd half in particular was good.

Kwon played well yesterdat, but that miss was pretty poor (and he knew it). Him and Triantis make us that bit more solid in midfield. Kwon looks technically very decent, comfortable on the ball.

Hoilett contributed well and it was good to see Boyle looking that bit more like his old self. Good goal to cap it off.

A nice day out, capped off with Leveins torn face and another defeat for the yams. I was shocked at the state of shankland on the highlights, he looks like he has got into pies in a big way.
