The Night Has a Thousand Eyes - Bobby* Vee
(* Long strange link here, but I have to share this memory from 56 years ago!!).... I used to get on WBA Supporters Club coach to Away games back then, and one of the lads on the coach had come up with this Albion song, to the tune of Georgie Fame's hit of the time "Bonnie* & Clyde." We sang it on the road to Wembley when we won the Cup in '68:- Bobby and Clive Oh what a combination They made their reputation scoring goals galore. Bobby and Clive We know that we adore them We know they will be scoring goals for evermore! One brave boy tried to stop them, Boy did he fret They left him lying on the halfway line And smashed the ball right into the net!!! Bobby and Clive had to fight to get Albion number 1, Shooting on target from ever available pos-i-tion. They used to laugh about losing, They knew the day would come When we would carry on winning Until the FA Cup was one!
