Junior Quitirna has signed a new deal at Fleetwood Town to keep him there until the summer of 2026.
The winger has put pen to a two and a half year contract after scoring five goals in 23 appearances for League One's bottom club.
Quitirna, 23, joined the Cod Army from sister club Waterford last January, briefly going on loan at Altrincham.
The Guinea-Bissau born midfielder established himself at Highbury Stadium towards the end of 2022-23 season.
The new deal includes an option for a further year following its conclusion in 2026.

League One Fleetwood Town have brought in five players on deadline day.
They have signed St Patrick's forward Tommy Lonergan for an undisclosed fee on a two-and-a-half-year deal and defender Finley Potter on an 18-month deal from Sheffield United.
Bournemouth's Gavin Kilkenny, Everton teenager Elijah Campbell and Brighton and Hove Albion full-back Imari Samuels have all joined on loan.
The Cod Army are bottom of League One, 11 points adrift of safety.
Lonergan, 20, who has represented Republic of Ireland up to under-19 level, scored as St Patrick's won the FAI Cup in November.
Potter spent the first half of the season on loan in the National League with Barnet, but the 19-year-old has signed a permanent contract at Highbury with the option of an extra year.
Dublin-born Kilkenny, 24 has featured just once for the Cherries this season, as a substitute in the fourth round FA Cup win over Swansea City. The midfielder had loan spells last season with Stoke City and Charlton Athletic.
Central defender Campbell, 19, is yet to play for the Toffees' first team, but he has featured for them in the EFL Trophy.
Samuels, 21, is in the same position, having also only played in the EFL Trophy for the Seagulls.
All three loan moves are until the end of the season.
The new players will all be eligible for Charlie Adam's struggling side in Saturday's home game against Port Vale.

Fleetwood Town have signed midfielder Matty Virtue on a two-year contract.
The 27-year-old will join the Cods from Blackpool at the conclusion of his current contract.
Virtue made 104 appearances for the Seasiders after signing from Liverpool in 2019.
"It's a pleasure to be here and like any player at this stage of the season, I can't wait to get going," Virtue told the club website, external.
"When I came to meet Charlie [Adam, Fleetwood Town's manager] and the rest of the coaching staff, they all blew me away with their vision for this football club.
"The values they have match mine and the way the team wants to operate, so for me it was no-brainer to come here."
Fleetwood Town, who are under new ownership after their former owner was jailed for fraud in July 2023, spent most of the 2023-24 season in the relegation zone and will be returning to the fourth tier of English football next season for the first time since 2002.

Fleetwood Town have signed Cheltenham midfielder Elliot Bonds on a three-year deal.
Bonds, 24, had been with the Robins for three years, joining from Hull City and scoring five goals in 111 games.
The Guyana international began his career at Dagenham and Redbridge before moving to Hull City in 2019, where he never made a league appearance.
He is Charlie Adam's second signing of the summer.

Fleetwood Town have signed defender Zech Medley.
The centre-back, 23, has joined the Cod Army on a two-year contract. He was a free agent, having been at KV Oostende prior to the Belgian club being dissolved because of financial problems.
Medley was in Chelsea's academy but switched to Arsenal as a 16-year-old.
He made three senior appearances for the Gunners and went on loan to Gillingham and then Kilmarnock prior to his move to Oostende in 2021.

Fleetwood Town have signed former Everton midfielder Mackenzie Hunt on a two-year deal.
The 22-year-old was released by the Toffees earlier this summer.
He had been on Everton's books since the age of 13 and was named on the bench 17 times in the Premier League last season but never made a senior appearance.
"I'm very happy to be here and excited for the season ahead," Hunt told Fleetwood's website., external
"The manager has good ambitions and they're looking to bounce back after a disappointing season last season.
"I need to start playing proper football and I think Fleetwood is the right place to do that."

Fleetwood Town have signed former Everton midfielder Mackenzie Hunt and defender James Bolton from St Mirren.
Bolton, 29, has joined the Cod Army for an undisclosed fee, external after making 26 appearances for the Scottish side last season.
He has signed a two-year contract.
Bolton has also played for Macclesfield, Halifax, Gateshead, Shrewsbury, Portsmouth and Plymouth, where he was part of the Pilgrims' League One winning squad in 2022-23.
Hunt, 22, was released by the Toffees earlier this summer and has signed a two-year deal with Fleetwood.

Fleetwood Town defender Carl Johnston has signed a new deal to remain with the League Two club until the end of the 2025-26 season.
The 22-year-old has made 86 appearances since joining from Northern Irish side Linfield in 2017.
He went on to sign his first professional contract with the Cod Army in January 2020.
He made 35 appearances in all competitions for Fleetwood last term, scoring on the final day of the season against Burton Albion.

Fleetwood Town have signed midfielder Mark Helm from Burton Albion on a three-year contract.
The 22-year-old began his career with Manchester United but was released by the club in 2021.
He went on to join Burnley but did not make a full first-team appearance for the club during his time at Turf Moor.
Helm went on to join Burton in 2023 and made a total of 62 appearances for the Brewers.

Fleetwood Town have signed forward Mipo Odubeko, who becomes their seventh new recruit of the summer transfer window.
Odubeko, 21, was a free agent having left Portuguese second division side Maritimo earlier this summer and joins Charlie Adam's squad on a one-year contract.
The Republic of Ireland Under-21 player started on the books at West Ham United and played two FA Cup games for the Hammers' senior team.
He also had loan spells at Huddersfield Town, Doncaster Rovers and Port Vale before his spell in Portugal.
Odubeko will be eligible for Fleetwood's Carabao Cup tie at home to Championship side West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday (19:45 BST).
The Cod Army started the season with a 1-0 victory over Grimsby Town in League Two.

Fleetwood Town have signed Manchester United defender Rhys Bennett on a season-long loan deal.
The 20-year-old is yet to make his competitive debut for the Red Devils but did feature for them in pre-season.
He had a loan spell in League Two with Stockport last season, featuring once in a 4-0 defeat at Tranmere.
Bennett could make his debut for Charlie Adam's side at AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.
