On a different tack, our new labour government have just scrapped the winter fuel payment for millions of old aged people, only those on means tested benefits and pension credits will now receive it. Why bother paying into a pension scheme or saving or even working ? you're no better off, in fact you're worse off, than those who've never worked and know the system.
