It's pretty ridiculous stuff. Portraying Sidegate as a genius in hopes the masses will feed into the delusion.
Gareth did exactly as expected in the final, again. He proved himself incapable of making the big calls. That Cucurella flop at the end was a disgrace. The linesman that flagged that should be ashamed. You know simulation is a tactic in these situations. That robbed us of one last chance to put the ball in. Spain deserved to win but they've also had the officials behind them for the entire tournament, nudging them.

I can only think he getting medicated personally by the FA . It's strange how football has become 2 polour opposites of opinions isn't it... not ! I got phoned by IPSOS just before the election, they asked my name, age, ethnicity, religion and sexuality before saying I didn't qualify to answer their questions about voting as I wasn't in the demographic.

It is unfortunately and you know how Imre feels about wrong threads!
So we shuffle on. From what I can gather there's split opinion on Sidegate getting sacked. Though even Gary, Alan and Micah think the rat should go. He's going to destroy these kids before the WC if he stays. If he goes, someone has 18months to work a new system with a squad that doesn't have Trippier, Shaw or Kane in it.
