Without wanting to restrict your vinyl/CD memories, what about a bit of OMD and Erasure? Add in some Madness/Two Tone stuff and it'll be a good listen. Have a great holiday.

We've been going through the best of the decades play lists. Done the 60's and 70's now onto the 80's
Surprised what a young whippersnapper knew from the early lists!
To be fair I can listen to anything from frank Sinatra to Metallica quite easily. I've become more about the music itself than the lyrics on the vast majority of songs. Don't like a lot of this new stuff from people who 'sing'
