Yep, with these rules arbitrarily enforced the big boys will continue to generate ridiculous amounts of revenue whilst the ambitious smaller clubs will be prone to all the punishments. There's corruption in every league of English football now and it's horrible to see. We've been on the receiving end of some seriously dodgy decisions, not errors, blatant cheating at times. Norwich as one example, from the moment we started bringing ourselves back in to the game the officials began making ridiculously biased decisions against us. Free kicks for absolutely nothing, throw ins for nothing, soft fouls to break up our attacks but letting hard tackles go against us. It's every week for us, there's a few other clubs that feel they're on the receiving end too. As each week ticks by we hear more and more controversy about match officials. It isn't incompetence or simply a coincidence it's blatant corruption and people need to stop glossing over it as 'part of the game' It's that very passive lay down and take it attitude that compromised us, in all walks of life by the powers that be. West Broms pen decision against Rotherham the other night was an absolute disgrace also. The West Brom players didn't even have the decency to put it wide either, that's the modern footballer. Just like the officials they cheat and don't have the character anymore to do the right thing. Stokes goal against Swansea is a bit debatable but still comes within the rules of keeper having two hands on in the ball when coming in to contact with an opposition player whether accidentally or not, that's the rule.
