There are those who desperately need to understand that to criticise a religion, a hostile ideology, is not racism. Islam is not an ethnic group.
Although Muslims can be any ethnicity they are predominantly non-white.
Part of the issue, I believe, is the effect of 'white guilt' being so deeply seeded that white people are now conditioned to not criticise or call out poor behaviour by people of colour, even where it's justified, for fear of being called "Racist".

Therefore many whites cannot even begin to address criticising the belief system held by religious people of colour because they can't even bring themselves to get past their skin colour, terrified that they'll be seen saying something negative about a person of colour and not that person's belief system.
