All politicians, at national and local level, are in it for themselves and they will always go with what ever furthers their career. Gone are the days when politics and governance was a vocation rather than a job. The impact of this is felt more at local level than national. In days gone by the locals would be on the council, claiming only expenses after a hard day at work in their day job, and would have their constituents and locality at heart.

Bandwagoners Doh

I wouldn't trust one of them as far as I could kick them Cool

Only a slight surprise there , Ali's overconfidence and blatant islamist rhetoric seems to have cost him.

Fortunately, Galloway's soapbox contained the correct ingredients, pandering.

It's a local election yet we didn't hear much about how the lives of people in Rochdale are going to be made better, only how Galloway is desperate to earn to backing of the Muslim community by bleating on about Gaza, which might be important internationally but not at a domestic level in Rochdale.

Not enough people are alarmed by any of this, we've seen numerous candidates up and down the country using the same rhetoric, using Palestine as a complete manifesto for local council politics, almost nothing about the glaring community issues we face in the UK?
What the actual hell?
Galloway ran under 'The Workers Party of GB' yet had nothing of substance to offer the disenfranchised working class so we already know his modus operandi was simply to get his nose back in the trough by pandering to the community on a non domestic issue Laugh

Also, if the Islamic community is such a small minority, then why are all the career politicians pandering to it and not the alleged massive white population?
Surely that would be an easier alternative?

Meanwhile, this morning I managed about 10 minutes of TV news and heard the term "Islamophobia" used at least five times.
Divisive race baiting during an election, who would have thought??

It was completely acceptable though for Yousaf to claim Scotland was too white in order to gaslight his way into parliament though and for Khan to post a picture on the Mayoral website of a white family with the caption "This doesn't represent real Londoner's"

But but but.. Islamophobia Doh
There's no Christian phobia, which it's clear the Muslim community suffers from as everything in a white Christian country is deeply offensive to them.

The gullible will continue to lap this shit it up and they deserve everything that's on the way.

Unfortunately, you can't separate islamic religion from politics because they are interwoven as such that it's a singular doctrine.
The sooner people understand this, the better

Whether you love him or hate him.. He nailed it about 'Islamophobia' and this is almost 15yrs ago.

"Now, I am absolutely convinced that the main source of hatred in the world is religion and organized religion. Absolutely convinced of it. I'm glad that you applaud because it's a very great problem for those that oppose this motion isn't it? How are they going to ban religion? How are they going to stop the expression of religious loathing, hatred and bigotry? I speak as someone who is a fairly regular target of this, and not just in rhetorical form. I have been the target of many death threats. I know within a short distance of where I'm currently living in Washington I can name two or three people whose names you probably know who can't go anywhere now without a security detail because of the criticisms they've made of one monotheism in particular and this is in the capital city of the United States. So I know what I'm talking about and I also have to notice that the sort of people who ring me up and say they know where my children go to school, and they say that they know what my home number is and where I live, and what they're going to do to them and my wife and me and who, I have to take seriously because they have done it to people I know, are just the people who are going to seek the protection of the hate speech law if I say what I think about their religion which I'm now going to do. I don't have any, what you call, ethnic bias. No grudge of that sort. I can rub along with pretty much anyone of any, as it were, origin or sexual orientation or language group except people from Yorkshire of course who are completely untakable.

I'm beginning to resent the confusion that's being imposed on us now and there was some of it this evening between religious belief, blasphemy, ethnicity, profanity and what one might call multicultural etiquette. It's quite common now for people to use the expression, for example, anti-Islamic racism as if an attack on a religion was an attack on an Ethnic group. The word Islamophobia, in fact, is beginning to acquire the opprobrium of what was once reserved for racial prejudice. This is a subtle and very nasty insinuation that needs to met head on. Who said what if Falwell said he hates fags? What if people act upon that? The bible says you have to hate fags. If Falwell says it, he's saying it because the Bible says it so he's right, yes it might make people go out and use violence. What are you going to do about that? You're up against a group of people who will say "You put your hands on my Bible and we'll call the hate speech police!" Now what are you going to do when you've dug that trap for yourself? Somebody said that anti-Semitism and Kristallnacht was the result of ten years of Jew-bating. Ten years? You must be joking, it's the result of 2000 years of Christianity based on one verse of one chapter of St. John's gospel which led to a pogrom after every Eastern sermon, every year for hundreds of years because it claims that the Jews demanded the blood of Christ beyond the heads of themselves and all their children to the remotest generation. That's the warrant and license for and incitement to anti-Jewish pogroms. What are you going to do about that? Where's your piddling sub-section now? Does it say St. John's gospel must be censored? Do I, who've read Freud and know what the future of an illusion really is and know that religious belief is ineradicable as long as we remain a stupid poorly evolved mammalian species, think that some Canadian law is going to solve this problem? Please, no our problem this: our pre-frontal lobes are too small and our adrenaline glands are too big and our thumb-finger proposition isn't all that it might be and we're afraid of the dark and we're afraid to die and we believe in the truths of holy books that are so stupid and so fabricated that a child can, and all children do as you can tell by their questions, actually see through them and I think it should be with religion, treated with ridicule and hatred and contempt and I claim that right.

Now, let's not dance around - not all monotheisms are exactly the same at the moment. They're all based on the same illusion they're all plagiarisms of each other, but there's one in particular that at the moment is proposing a serious menace to not just freedom of speech but freedom of expression but to quite a lot of other freedoms too. This is the religion that exhibits the horrible trio of self-hatred, self-righteousness and self-pity. I'm talking about militant Islam. Globally it's a gigantic power. Globally it's a gigantic power. It controls; an enormous amount of oil; wealth; several large countries and states; with an enormous fortune. It's pumping the ideology of Wahhabism and Salafism around the world; poisoning societies everywhere it goes; ruining the minds of children; stultifying the young in it's madrassas; training people in violence, making a cult of death and suicide and murder. That's what it does globally, its quite strong. In our societies as a cringing minority whose faith he might offend, which deserves all protection that the small and vulnerable group might need.

Now it makes quite large claims for itself doesn't it? It says its the final revelation. It says that God spoke to one illiterate businessman in the Arabian peninsula three times through an archangel and that the resulting material, as you can see when you read it, is largely plagiarised from the old and the new testament. Almost all of it actually ineptly from the old and the new testament. It is to be accepted as a divine revelation and as the final and unalterable word and unalterable one and that those who don't accept this revelation are to be treated as cattle, infidels, slaves Victims, I'll tell you what I don't think Muhammad ever heard those voices, I don't believe it. The likelihood that I'm right as opposed to the likelihood that a shepherd who couldn't read had bits of the old and new testament re-dictated to him by an archangel I think puts me much more near the position of being objectively correct. But who is the one under threat? The person who promulgates this and says "I better listen because if I don't I'm in danger" or me, who thinks this is so silly you can even publish a cartoon about it. And up go the placards and up go the yells and the howls and the screams, "Behead those!" This is in London... this is in Toronto.... this is in New York.... It's right in our midst now, "Behead those!" "Behead those who cartoon Islam!" Do they get arrested for hate speech? No.. Might I get in trouble for what I've just said about the prophet Muhammad? Yes I might. Where are your priorities ladies and gentlemen? You're giving away what's most precious in your own society and you're giving it away without a fight and you're even praising the people who want to deny you the right to resist it. Shame on you while you do this. Make the best use of the time you've got left. This is really serious."

Hitchens highlights issues I've mentioned before.
The extreme Wahhabi mentality being exported/imported.
The shutting down of dialogue or any rational criticism of Islam under the guise of racism or Islamophobia.
This is exactly how insidious it is and Khan proves it every single time his mouth opens.

How ridiculous it is that every other religion can be subject to scrutiny yet to do so to Islam is 'blasphemy' thus making it acceptable to harm you.
To actually conclude that harming you is a reasonable/rational response to the situation!?
To actually blame the victims for the barbaric, backwards and intolerant belief system which lashes out in every direction, even it's own..

Oil money plays a dominant role in manifesting these evils.
Even a knuckle dragger can see the sphere of influence Arab oil money has on our Sports/Entertainment..
Now, imagine a much higher level of spending, politically, to destabilise countries and continents, all whilst loading them up with radical thinking extremists and whilst not all Muslims are radical islamists themselves, they are complicit in the hostile culture to which they belong. They have to be, or they, themselves will be ostracized by the religious community, or even worse...

I truly wish more people would read about the history of all Abrahamic religions, especially Islam because it truly is corrupt, backwards, incompatible and dangerous to any civilised society. The Arab slave trade start long before anyone else's and still continues to this very day with almost no coverage!! Why? Fatwas and Oil money, that's why.
Hence, our own cultures, values and traditions are in absolute decay as a consequence of pandering to an ideology that resents us, it always will no matter how many allowances or extra privileges it's given.

There's a few old videos on YouTube of Hitchens even stating that all of what we're seeing now, the enabling, he says "The very gates will be opened to the barbarians by our elected leaders" and we won't see it coming..

The man's been dead 13yrs and saw this on the horizon.
This is why I campaign and scream against it so much now, because 15yrs ago was too late.
Now we're fked and people are still enabling this toxic, Islamist garbage at an unprecedented level.

Very few people (on these social medias) know their history, it becomes tiresome, constantly told by room temperature iq folk, that I'm wrong and simply a racist white coloniser Laugh Doh

Turns out we don't need to worry. Sir, Kid Starver has a three point plan to save us all if we just stick with Labour! Doh

No journalists asking why a Houthi rebel leader is name dropping Galloway like he's their man Laugh

Galloway says "There'll be no grooming gangs in my watch"
Except that there is, he's inherited a big one in Rochdale., one that local residents complained about 10yrs ago and nothing was done about it, Why?
Just like there was in Rotherham, Bradford and other communities until it all quietly went away.
Why?

Because the Police were scared of the consequences and backlash from the Muslim community.
That says everything in a nutshell. As such , this dangerous precedent being set allowed it to happen up and down the country, for decades.

Now look at the state of Europe. It's rampant with it and nobody is allowed to bring heavy attention to it. No dialogue will be had... All scrutiny is 'racism and Islamophobia' Doh

We've finally hit new echelons in dumbfkerry..
Church of England setting a wonderful standard.

I wonder how much money is going to be set aside for we Serfs?

Considering we were being sold down in Bristol, hundreds of years before Black people were forcibly made slaves..
Considering the Arabs and the Barbary Pirates stole and enslaved hundreds of thousands of white Europeans, whose life expectancy as slaves under Islam was around 20yrs
Africans on the plantation had a life expectancy of around 40yrs
All of it was evil...
However, Black people did not suffer worse slavery conditions than others, it's just complete bullshit from afrocentrists and those who are historically illiterate. Looking for monetary gain when they are NOT deserving.
Are the Arabs going to break us off a little of that Oil money as reparations? No, they're not ffs

'Black pain' lasted a few centuries (and that's being generous including this century..)
The white peasants pain started long before and continued after it..
George Washington's necessary intervention with the Barbary Pirates highlights this, as they began attacking and enslaving Americans, centuries and centuries of the Islamic slave trade and it's right there, documented in history!!! They're still at it to this very day.
Colonising in the name of Islam.

None of these journalist clowns have the testicular fortitude to lay it all down. Wrong narrative and POC might get upset...by the truth

Nobody wants to end up like Hitchens or Rushdie.
Where the religion of peace threatens not just your life, but everyone you love.. So much so that life in your own country becomes so profoundly perilous you must flee to another land in order to be safe.
At best, you're cancelled. Lose your job and must carry the stigma of a 'racist all because you went against the narrative.

Idiocracy at its finest. Expedited daily by fresh ignorance.

This tells a story :-

How many slaves went back to Liberia?

Between 1820 and 1864, only 11,000 African Americans emigrated to Liberia (4,000 free blacks and 7,000 former slaves who gained freedom by agreeing to emigrate to Liberia).
