Southampton away

A coach with a clue seems to be working just fine right now. That said, I've forecast Saints to get 4 to Town's 2 so, hold on for the white knuckle ride in the 2nd half.
That also said, the only points Saints have dropped to lower half (before kick-off) sides this season are to us at ours and to Rotherham down there.

Happy to see my forecast blown to bits Big Grin

Being sunk by subs

Several times today we were half-way to mid-table mediocrity, only to be back where we started and QPR a point closer.
3 more coming up when owt could still happen. Could see Southampton getting 5 with Moore in charge but not us getting 3.

Four goals from subs. Rolleyes

Just seen the goals on SSN. That first one of theirs was a worldie. the rest of them were pretty scrappy ones that we could've dealt with better. However, I'm happy that we kept on attacking and gave the team who are second in the table, a damn good game and one hell of a shock.

Under Moore, we would've shipped five goals and possibly got a consolation after they had declared.

Onwards and upwards. Looking forward to the Sunderland game now.

The way this game went reminded me of that West Ham game in the Premier League.

Leeds climbed 3 points above Wendies and a point behind 'ull in The Yorksha League with their 3-0 win over The Millers.
Rotherham have now played all their away fixtures and are unbeaten in 2 at home.
'ull are involved in 2 games this week with visits to New Yark, New Yark on Tuesday and The McGalphsmiths on Saturday.

Most important three games of the season for us now. In the Yorkshire league I mean.

Doing my research for Blunderland (not my thread, but I've other converts around the world I keep informed on all things Town) and 'ull (which apparently is), Saturday was the first game that Town lost after taking the lead and that Saints won after going behind this season. Given they've only lost 4 and drawn 3 after going behind, it's no wonder some backsides were tweaking on Saturday. Apologies to jjamez for (maybe) stealing his thunder. Didn't spot it in Snoots's OP if he mentioned it.

Home to the top 2 and away to the unbeaten (home) bottom club. What could pooooooossibly go wrong?

PS, we appear to be back to knitting fog on here again.
Faster to walk up the cut than pootle along in a narrow boat. Not sure why as it was all sorted not long ago..
