Town v Boro - 29 Dec

We were unlucky last night, I think a point a piece would’ve been a fair result.

A decent game of football with chances at both ends, those two misses though!

No complaints, now play the B team for the next two games and save the Players for the Plymouth game

We were beaten by one of the spawniest shots ever to go in after one of the easiest (maybe two) misses of the season by both sides. Their's was a tap in to an empty net from 3 yards, ours was a bit further out but didn't need Koroma's laces putting through it. Wouldn't trust either of them to pass the HP Sauce on that evidence let alone pass a ball into the net a la Jimminio Greavsio.

Well chuffed for Chapman saving the ex-L666s b'stard's penalty, which after every replay I still fail to see what the ref says he saw to award it. The ball was taken before the Boro player tripped over his foot. Watch where the ball goes. If he gets the man, the ball goes forward. Not buying the commentator's view either. Without the penalty there's no corner, but then Howson slams a ball into the ground and it bounces in off the bar. Yeah, he meant that all night long. Doh Why nobody was standing on his toes or tying his laces together is another matter. Yes we deserved a point from that, at least. Boro seemed to have far more possession than Blackburn, yet we were close to 15% less than Boro? Think some stop-watch calibration might be required somewhere. That or on the thumbs that operate them.

Give Leicester a game then our B Team can play The Blue Mancs Youth Team next Sunday.

The Yorksha League

Boro get their first win and move above Town and Rotherham

If he plays the B team at Man City, then he should repay the money to the 6,000 who have bought tickets.

If Man City play theirs they should too. Never saw when they went on sale or for how much but now we are sold out it doesn't matter as far as I'm concerned.

We don't follow up with a midweek league game. It's six days after the Leicester match. Why would the first team need a rest.

I'm sure anybody left out of the City game will be seriously pissed off.

True, unlike the madness of the last week or so (4 in 9 days inc Leicester) we've only 4 more in the whole of January and all 3 games after City are winnable too. Hopefully some new faces around by then too.

The reason I say rest them is because many have come back from injury and are clearly knackered. Kasumu and Rudoni have both looked shattered after about 65minutes in the past week. As much as it would be a kick in the teeth to the away support both Leicester and Man City have both been written off in my book. More chance of me winning the lottery than getting anything out of those games

If Boro aren't the Jekyll and Hyde side of The Chumpionship this season I don't know who is. The Hyde version of Teeside has turned up by The Thames tonight, with Howson doing more to help Chelsea get to Wembley than Boro. Gotta larf ain'tcha? How have we lost twice to this shower this season?
