Bit of a strange move. Can’t see Brighton being happy having him move from a regular starter at Oxford to sitting on our bench so that’s a bit of a kick in the goodies to Dawson after his performance yesterday. Then assuming he plays and keeps us up we’ll still need yet another new keeper in the summer since all we will have done is develop someone else’s player we can’t afford.

Nothing positive so far at all

He's 10 years old there is no way DR is thinking of the first team with this signing ...he's reported as incoming on X ( it's not Twitter anymore you have free speach Wink )

He's definitely back up I don't think Charles is big enough to be a keeper really ..I remember a few seasons ago when we signed that useless little dwarf ( can't remember his name although he had my piss boiling on many occasions)

Connor Coventry west ham 23 another kid we are interested in ..not sure kids are going to get us over the line though so why bother if it's a loan ..I mean I understand Dr he's thinking of the future but we don't have one ! If get relegated ! Loaning kiddies is a definite suicide policy at the minute .

Hard to say what Rohl is going for or how deep his influence goes with regard to transfer market.

We hired a bloke as a sort of sports director didn't we? Can't recall his name but had previously worked with EPL clubs I believe.

James Beadle on loan from Brighton. Goalkeeper. Has a right kite on him Laugh

No idea if he's going to be any good as Oxford to Wednesday is a leap and he's still got to play behind four Muppets

Okay, he's built like a matchstick

Allows us to get Vasquez off the books, develop Charles in the U21s and likely stick with Dawson in the meantime but I would imagine that Brighton have only allowed this move to happen if we are planning on playing him most weeks. I'm ok with this as long as it also means we are spending virtually nothing on him to allow us to strengthen in other areas.

I can't imagine Brighton would be developing a player worse than Dawson currently is?

We'll find out soon enough because I feel Dawsons positioning is often suspect.

While that may be the case with some loans, particularly older players, when you have a 19 year old prospect that is playing international football at youth level, you need him to play to develop while out on loan. This has been the case over the years with these type of loans. Bighton have absolutely been given some guarantees by us to pull him from Oxford where he was playing week in, week out.
