At least we are no longer one of only two teams in the whole football league who have not won a game this season. Guess the other! Tee Hee. But a disgrace for the birthplace of football.
Just watched City stuff Man U. Three nil does not do them justice.
Movement OFF the ball was incredible . Always somebody in space with skill to control the ball and pass to a team mate. So simple and so effective.

Fix the game so that nobody can compete then outspend everyone.
There's no denying that Pep and his players can be a dream to watch at times.
How they are where they are and can operate the way they do is an absolute dick slap in the face to nearly all other clubs in the football leagues.

But my point is Stateside that the City players don’t do anything special. They receive the ball, pass to a team mate and move to find space. We do not see players “dribbling” anymore like Best and Robertson when we were kids. Grearlish is the closest to the old style player. But control, passing, moving off the ball and finding space are the key today. I hate watching England when you get three guys playing around the ball and seven stood still, watching the game. Easy to mark a guy who just stands still.
Never s coach but all training for me should be 5-a-side two touch only.

That's very true..
Pep's players all work hard and the modern footballer is a trained athlete, opposed to those old skool players that smoked and drank heavily yet still banged in worldies for their time.
The games evolved in many ways though.
Movement off the ball is equally important as movement off the ball with modern tactics.

Iwould love to join if it is not too late. But afraid I could be like your nemesis PEI Owl. Worked in Ladbroked as a student and have been involed in racehorses in France for a few years. If we had a decent striker I could give you my predictions for the rest of the season. Other games of interest Is HHHHH. Score 1 0 to home team. 36 minutes for time of first goal.Attendance at home games is screwed because of extotionate prices they are now asking. £52 in South Stand so ridiculous if I want to take my two sons to a game when I am over. Couple of beers snd a pie and I need a bank loan. After todsy I suppose I should go for scorer as Smith but would want to change in January as I hope we find another.
