What pissed me off Imre is that the French are are not really into football. Just another game for them. Problem is they are so good and its not that important.

I eould add we have a small house in Brittany in a commune of around 450 people. I think France has around 35,000 communes. They have a stade (stadium) perfectly level, fenced in, clubhouse, floodlights, immaculte playing surface.. All Colmunes in France have the same. Herringthorpe and Concorde leave a lot to be desired. Crazy thing is we stilll produce great players but absolute crap managers!

FA cronyism
British cronyism at the heart of it all.
At the head of every governing body, every charity is one of those blue blood elites.
Our oligarchs
The same set of pricks that told the peasants to walk towards German gunfire, should they turn back they'd be shot.

They're just as inbred and out of touch today as they were centuries ago.
The thought of giving any prestigious job to the 'serf class' irks them in a way that only centuries of contempt could.

At least the French had the cajones to give their Monarchs the much deserved Guillotine
They ended up with democracy and a republic.
We on the other hand, have suffered endless oppression and watched our basic civil rights diminish as we're forced to accept blatant racism from a hostile culture which deeply resents us and refuses to accept or assimilate with European cultures.

All this whilst pumping out the neuro linguistic programming like "Inclusivity and Diversity are our strength"
And my favourite.
Making the Serf sing "Britons never ever shall be slaves"
In the national anthem when all they have ever been, are slaves Doh

I know I'm a bit abrasive, reactionary and often an arsehole. That doesn't mean I'm wrong though.
I'm just an arsehole...

Fouls committed by Wednesday and our opponents, including this season and the previous 6

(Wednesday fouls first)

17-18 521-466
18-19 619-515
19-20 697-506
20-21 579-514
21-22 508-486
22-23 542-451
23-24 171-115

Make of that what you will, apparently we are a dirtier team than our opponents.

Very good post Owlkev71. I am amazed at the figures. I only get to 3 or 4 games a year but I have never thought we are dirty team. In fact quite the opposite - a bit soft. Maybe the conspiracy theorists are right!

Statto!

No smoke without fire and we're definitely on fire Laugh

We'll never be forgiven and will always be punished.
Just think how many points, goals and goal scoring opportunities we've been denied due to these stooges.
Then the effect that had on our final standings.
It's the difference between staying up and going down.

Our last relegation season from the Championship. Hutch was sent off repeatedly
Penalties were called against us for every soft foul then too.
However, I don't recall any of our opponents giving us penalties or getting reduced to 10 men.

I really think the Club should consult a legal team about this.
The Club can easily compile a list of blatantly biased decisions designed to punish Wednesday regardless of who they play.

Saturday's decision is nothing I've seen before.
The ref gave the penalty, then Watford players surrounded him, intimidated and Influenced him to talk to the linesman, for some strange reason.
Suddenly it's no longer a penalty lol
There's also the issue of not booking any Watford players for surrounding and harassing the ref to change the decision.
I wonder what woul happen if our lot crowded and intimidated the ref..?

They're so brazen with their BS now they don't try to hide it.
No accountability in the profession and nobody meeting them in the car park has allowed them to escalate their unscrupulous behaviour to every single match day.
It isn't necessarily the individual match officials that feel any particular way about SWFC. They likely don't care.
They get the memo, tow the line and do what they're told.

They're going to fk us either way. I say we go down screaming now.
Make a huge stink about these liars, cheats and crooks in the EFL and PGMOL

Embarrass them with hours of video footage showing how they're incompetent at best and at worst, liars and cheats.

I've been seeing and hearing other Clubs being subject to some very dubious decision making.
It's difficult to stay on top of it due to the sheer volume.

Your conspiracy theory against us goes out the window if its happening to clubs all over the leagues!!

We literally have become the moaners and whingers and the oh woe is me club over the past 9 years!! Even Kev's foul stats where our crapness is now being ignored so we can blame the refs or the EFL instead.

The problem we have is DC, its not the refs, nor the EFL nor even the Scousers who broke down gates in 1989 or the police who covered up their mistakes with the help of Thatchers government!! We commit more fouls because we are crap, we see our players beaten time and again and guess what, out of desperation they foul. Most of us are of an age where we bitched and moaned about ref decisions all the time, we just did it in the pub and not on social media or watching endless replays of incidents. We could see when it was a crap decision by a poor referee, we moaned about it but moved on, now we just blame the ref and make up ridiculous conspiracy theories.

We finally have a manager who is from the modern world, one who will put in place a structure that helps us rather than the usual dinosaurs like Pulis and Bruce or the inept like Monk and Xisco. Its a structure that DC should have put in from day 1 but he is too xxxx stubborn and has too big an ego to do that and we are suffering as a club as a consequence of him knowing nothing about football. We need to give Rohl both time and our support, even if we get relegated but we need to get DC out of our club somehow or force him into the background and let Rohl replicate what he has seen succeed in many places all over the football world.

Agree with 99 percent of this post but just don’t blame the police or anybody else other than the Scousers.

I think they broke down the gates in 88 as well. Not sure of this but that’s what I’ve heard. Encouraged them to come again in 89 with more numbers.

Tried to get tickets for that 89 game to take my 7 year old lad. Luckily I failed. Was planting raspberry plants in the garden and listened on the radio.

Agree the police cocked up afterwards but they didn’t cause the problem.

I should have clarified a bit further.
Other Clubs do face the occasional poor/dodgy decision depending on their opponents and the importance of the games outcome.
However, NO other teams face the sheer volume of condensed phukkery week after week, season after season, that we do. They just don't.

Now, being crap and useless, which we certainly are; is a separate issue to the decision making which compounds the misery of it. We aren't good enough to get a result regardless of any decisions designed to handicap us.
We were promoted last season. Still filthy by the statistics.
Good, bad or just bang average. It's the same treatment it's just increased in visible when we're terrible as well.

Your last paragraph I do completely agree with. I feel Rohl, properly backed could almost be to us what Wilder was to the pigs.
Something miraculous happened with the coup of this Rohl guy and Powell on board gives me hope that passing and ball control can now be taught at an adult level.
It's finally an opportunity for the Club to make baby steps in the right direction but there's a ticking time bomb manifesting itself as Chansiri

Problem here is what we define as cause. The police screwed up that day, but not the regular police on the front line, I would never blame them for any of it. The powers that be in the SYP were the ones who replaced the guy who had run security at matches for years and put Duckenfield in charge instead. He had no experience and should not have been in that position in the first place.

One of his decisions was not to put a cordon around the Leppings Lane end so that only those with tickets got to the turnstiles, this was a huge cause of the whole thing.

The problems in 1988 were the pens and the spreading out of the fans, but this was dealt with on the day by the cop in charge by stopping fans using the tunnel. There were problems in 1987 of over crowding at the turnstiles and this is why in 1988 a cordon was used, this was abandoned in 1989 and both the issues they had in 87 and 88 came together.

Other issues in general were also causes of it, we were the only club with pens like those, football fans in general were the cause of having fences in the first place (look at the 1981 semi when overcrowding on that terrace occurred, but no pens or fences and a few spilled onto the perimeter track, another warning not heeded.) and of course the Liverpool fans on the day (and over previous years with the trouble they caused) were also definitely part of the cause. But for me football in general was to blame for it.

I went to 50 games a season home and away during the 80s, you would see these crushes outside and inside grounds week in week out, but we were all lucky as we got away with it but there were a few times where I was more than a bit scared of what was happening. The police tactics were brutal and the term herding cattle applied at every away game. The grounds were all unsafe back then as well, I remember away at Burnley where they crammed us into a terrace or the alley behind Maine Road or at Chelsea when we were in pens after fences went up. Hillsborough in 1989 was the perfect storm of everything we had seen in football during the 70s and 80s!!
