In playground terms Maddix we started it. First crusade 1096 when Latin church tried to take back holy lands from Muslims. Getting close to a thousand years war. Why we can’t grow up kills me.

I'm not sure we did Huh

Jesus was born about 500 years before Mohammed so they can't have been Muslim lands in the first place Huh Surely they invaded first Huh

And I think you might find that the Egyptians enslaved the Hebrews while we were still living in caves Laugh

Also, when are the African tribes going to say sorry for their part in the slave trade, which was going on internally thousands of years before the first European ship turned up. They just sold their captives to the highest bidder but Europe/USA has to say sorry and pay compensation. Surprise, f'ucking, surprise Doh

It's total bollock's trying to blame the past and then trying to justify the actions of the well monied leaders that are sat a million miles from the conflict and raking it in from the misery they cause (and profiteering from the aid we send) whilst pissing themselves laughing at the sheeples who follow their orders.

And NO actually, I won't be blamed for the woes of the World because I happen to be born in England and a white, male, heterosexual, able bodied, working, law abiding, tax paying Christian Cool

How can you support a team with all these nippers (IOW term) playing? Plus a Kraut in charge. We are doomed.

There's absolutely no point going further and further back because things essentially remain the same if you know the history of the (Abrahamic) religions involved and the region these events transpired within. It obfuscates and is nothing more than a digression.

7th Century, Umayyad dynasty took over the Muslim empire, slaughtered it's way across Africa all the way to Spain which was conquered by the Caliphate before marching on France.

The Umayyad eventually fell though smaller tribes and Caliphs continued to rule Spain until 1031
Then came the 'Taifas' which were basically tribes. These tribes wages war upon each other. Much in the way they still do today, Sunni, Shia, Whabbi, Salafi, Berelvi, Sufi and Deobandi all slaughtering each other and everyone else.

These Muslim tribes made deals with northern Christian Kings, for protection from rival Muslim taifas. (You can see a pattern repeating through History here and if you're intelligent enough you can connect the dots to our current situation)

The fall of al-andalus, Christians in Europe were driving back Islamic conquest from 720-1490
King Dickey and the rest of those horrible white people were aware of the dangers of Islam on their shores. They sought to reclaim land taken by Islam then drive it back and out of the 'Holy Land'
Imagine if he could see our RNLI water Taxiing fighting age Muslim men onto our shores every day Laugh
The Islamic conquest never, ever ends and only a blind man wouldn't see it

So, did we start it? NOPE Islam did throughout history and it gets exhausting teaching people to connect the dots.

Back to the point, in modern times.
Palestinians were offered a two state deal with more land. THEY refused to acknowledge Israel's existence subsequently going to war with Iran, Syria's backing and lost, by going to war they lost land which they would have if they'd taken the deal in the first place.
Also, If peace were ever a goal then why did Hamas drive out and kill Fatah? Fatah wished to reconcile and even agree to acknowledge Israel's existence.. Hamas, strangely being labelled 'Freedom fighters' by the low IQ have never had peace in mind because they're a group of Zealots who wish to expand Islam's borders not coexist with anyone outside their fanaticism.

Absolutely no sympathy for all that, they downright said no to peace then started a war, lost that that war and never stopped complaining since.
Surrounding 'Taifas' don't want anything to do with them....

None of this justifies Israel's Zionist crimes or their blatant prejudices. Again, being against this pro-islamic propaganda doesn't mean I'm behind Israel.
Im on the side of truth, facts and reality

I appreciate that though I'm only scratching the surface. Humans are still too prone to barbarism, always reverting to tribalism if the circumstances permit. Sports can be a good example of this lol

To be fair to Islam though, it hasn't always been hostile either. It's only when the Zealots have taken control of it, which is why Ive usually referred to it as 'heterodox' Islam as this hostile Wahhabi crap wasn't part of the doctrine for people such as Saladin (A great General )or even the Shah of Iran.
Islam was incredibly liberal in countries like Iran, Syria and Lebanon up til the 70/80's

Unfortunately, the nutters overthrew governments like Iran's when the Shah died.
Hostile and incompatible belief system which does not fit into western culture or anywhere else it resides, sadly.

Hence the ceaseless civil unrest or all out war wherever Islam is growing.
It isn't just the World being 'Islamophobic'. China, Russia/Chechnya, Europe, Africa, India, Malaysia. Throughout the middle east with intertribal wars against itself.
All these places having troubles with islamic communities today.

At what point do you stop playing the victim and hold your hands up and say " Yea, it's probably us trying to religiously drive out the indigenous, flat out refusing to assimilate or respect the culture of those countries we migrate to" Laugh

Love your posts but “heterodox” finished me off. Not one of 25,000 fans at next home game would have any clue.

I look at it like this ..there is no solution so it's either they die or we do simple ...the politicians in our country after Thacher should be hung drawn and quartered and that's quite frankly what we will do in Mexico to any muslim who starts vomiting his rubbish on our streets ..

I'm basically saying I'm f'ucking sick of saying sorry for things that had nowt to do with me and that history seems to have erased the other protagonists.

And yes, I do believe that Jesus existed Thumb up I'm not sure if he was resurrected or the son of a God though Cool

Think tanks of the world's brightest haven't been
able to resolve this conflict and unlikely ever will. It's not just about land, it's a religious/Holy war for the fanatical thinkers in both parties.
Never in history have the religious fanatic's ever been talked down from their craziness.
The only sound solution(in my opinion ) is to wipe out the(radical) ideology, and how do you go about that? You can't kill ideas and those already indoctrinated will consider themselves martyrs for the cause...
You aren't allowed to discuss the follies of religion either

Back to square one and humans in that region have been doing the same thing for a couple of thousand years, religion and intertribal warfare. We're not long for this Earth as a race so this mideast crap is never getting resolved.

We also have the Military industrial complex which profiteers from ceaseless conflict. I wonder if they're putting pressure on any politicians for free money under the guise of 'Aid'
