Thread to talk about football and wednesday in general
Agree Stateside. Watched first half United game yesterday and their passing, control and creative play was far superior to ours and they conceded 8! How the hell we beat Newcastle last year. We have clearly gone backwards.

That game for us against Newcastle last year filled me with pride and happiness..I can't remember us since against Brighton away in the playoffs playing with such stomach and heart !

Darren Moore will have Huddershit relegated faster than us !! Just need two more teams now to make bad appointments lol

Trouble is Imre my days of watching Wednesday were from 91 to 97. Some great games and great players (we can forget the Forest game). Best bit ever was Waddle doing donkey ears at Burroughs right in front of us in family stand in the West Ham game. Watch that game on utube too often for my own good. But we were good in those days. Since moving away we’ve had 25 years of garbage.

Likewise, Paris

Last kick of the game and Huddersfield score.

No doubt they'll be hoping for a present from the gift that keeps on giving.

Gone sheepishly quiet has our 'You've got to pay more for better quality' chairman

£30-£40 a ticket for Friday nights battering.
Couple of drinks and substandard food.
So, you're £60 in (per person and not included travel costs)for a miserable night of football sat in a slum.

And the millionaire can't understand why the fans are so ungrateful. Laugh

Just watched last week's post match interview.
Interesting how Xisco has a cheeky little chuckle when discussing the fans calling for his head.
It's almost as if he isn't taking any of this seriously. As just another hanger on would.

Chansiri's also wheeled a very fed up looking Barry out to give a speech about the fans needing to get behind them.
It's the fans fault for not being happy about paying Chansiris prices for this garbage, after being mugged off time and time again with his disingenuous bullcrap

This is what teams are up against (if it works Plymouth V Millwall)

Just proves Statesides point really - No foul given and leads to a goal !!!

Something is definitely going on with these officials and it doesn't come down to just being incompetent. Otherwise it'd be consistent and not a heavy bias towards one team and not the other.

We started getting f'ucked over after the Liverpool fans decided to get in for free (oh, and they will get their replay of the Spurs game after they've moaned enough Whistle but we won't get to play the Plymouth game again). This was made worse by Alcock's diving antics. The problem now is that it's so ingrained into officialdom that most of them don't even know why they are doing it Doh It's just the norm for this generation of referee's.

It's a bit like fans singing Hark now, blah-de-blah-boxing day, most of them weren't alive in 1979 but they sing it anyway because that's what you do Cool

Absolutely wouldn't put it past any of them to be using a 3rd party to place bets on games then try to influence the results.
That just feels too shallow though for the sheer volume of phukkery these officials are committing.

There's something more profound going on than simple betting and fixing results.

It's taken years before the truth came out surrounding Barcelona's mysterious payments that ended up finding their way to match officials.
When footballers at Division 4 level are getting a couple of grand a week for being anonymous nobodies and coasting a living you can guarantee there's now corruption in every tier of football.
