Finished last season on a high, stayed up with some good end of season form and had a new owner...

Roll on 4 months and you can see and feel the air of optimism draining away by the day.

Warnock's pre match presser yesterday was depressing on different fronts.

Signings, it doesn't look like we are getting any more in...and we desperately need more quality.

Warnock disappointed by the owners comments post Norwich and then saying that the budget isn't what he thought it was..In other words the owner and the manager singing from different song sheets and that alone doesn't bode well

Didn't they say though, that due to FFP or whatever it's called, that we are still working off last season's budget and can't change it?

Neil should've known that. Or be told that that was the case before he agreed to come back.

I think it's just a misunderstanding rather than he's been lied to.

And besides all that, he knows he's only here for the transitional period. It's not like he's setting up for a crack at the Premier League.

Just think, if Warnock had understood fully about the budget... We'd have still ended up with ward, koroma and Ruffles rejoining, so I guess it makes no difference does it
