Sunak Watch - Rolex price, Ratner standard
Re your end line, the possibility of Trump becoming sleepy Joe's successor is truly frightening with a huge concern that American society and it's constitutional foundations will be severely tested to their limits in a situation that really should not be happening in this day and age and bearing in mind the numerous disgraceful past events that are associated with this moron of an ex-US President with the Capitol insurgency riots high up on that list of events when a number of people lost their lives and many more would have suffered the same fate thanks to the heroic efforts of Washington Police and security enforcers on the ground.

Precisely - had he just been one of the nutters and not the former POTUS and leader of the nutters, he'd already be serving time for inciting what happened. That he has money (mostly not his - a lot of it Russian), influence and the title of former POTUS allows him a certain amount of Teflon coating. How much patience the US system can have with him, given the typical amount of solid lead poisoning in the atmosphere over there we can only wait and see.

Why the nutters with the guns seemingly go and pick on schools (often junior schools) when the actual target is actually 6'+ tall, has a piss poor blond haircut and is typically orange, apart from the bit around his eyes, is beyond me. How hard can it be to miss him?

Two words - GOOD RIDDANCE!! And hopefully more toerags to follow. However, a replacement govt provided by "red Tories"??????????????? Jeezzzz!! What a broken country this truly is when proper values and principles are binned by people guising as reputable politicians!! Where have all the "heavyweight" politicians gone??? Nothing of substance remaining at all while our human rights/workers' rights/union rights are gradually being eroded and won't be altered by Starmer et al - currently reckoned to be in line with Qatar (ref International Trade Union Confederation). What a farce!!

So the spiteful little twat is now issuing over a hundred new oil licences, just to piss off JSO.

This is where peaceful protest gets you.

Just to follow on from that typically climate denying stance from business-embracing Sunak in bizarrely issuing all those licences - listen to the official responses from Friends of the Earth and Greenpeace as well as the Scottish Green Party (and be enlightened!) that shred any justifying comments that the PM uttered today in Scotland. Even the whole carbon capture initiative is open to criticism in the fact it sustains the fossil-fuel industry in presenting this false image that their industry is cleaner, BUT THEIR ACTIVITIES CONTINUE - POWERS OF INFLUENCE PREVAIL AGAIN WHILE THE PLANET BURNS!!! Thumb down He is a climate denier in full view and uttering some real porkies re the benefits within the UK. For example, over 80% of O-G productivity will be exported abroad i.e. moving the fossil fuel prob elsewhere while "picking up dirty money" in the process. He is sadly playing politics to try to survive politically while our precious planet burns. One word comes to mind - OUTRAGEOUS!!

Funny how Sunaks policy launch in scotland showed him creating a massive contradiction that went unmentioned. According to Sunak Scotland is too poor to go it alone but on the other hand its wealth is going to "power up the UKs recovery".

Meanwhile his family firm Infosys has just signed a 1.5 billion deal with BP a couple of months ago.

Yep! Scotland is a "cash cow" for the UK and they continue to deliberately ignore that fact using bogus GERS data and other anti-Scotland propaganda techniques to dupe the dimwits up here. And the colluding unionist Brit press plus BBC not highlighting these issues as well. The reticence is similar to what happened two weeks ago (and spotted by officials of Believe in Scotland!) when the disunity within the Labour Party was clearly apparent as a good number of Scot Labour MSPs broke ranks to condemn Starmer's sudden U-turn on the Tory two-child welfare payment and other welfare U-turns. The BBC never mentioned this issue of disunity for over two days while they and the unionist press literally "jump" on any indication of SNP disunity to quickly "rub in" any "bad SNP shit" to our population up here. An outrageously biased agenda in full view! Thumb down

When you see what we were told in 2014 - stay in the uk to stay in EU, prosperity deals for our industries, Holyrood will be the most powerful devolved parliament in the world etc etc etc, economic security..... To what we got - rock hard Brexit, industries fucked, Holyroods powers being stripped by the tories and labour, and the worst cost of living crisis in europe, you can only conclude they are laughing at us while pissing on us at the same time.

Sunak knows the tories are a gonner so he is making sure all their pals fill their boots in the time that is left.

That sturgeon played it so safe and piss weak while all this was going down is unforgivable.

I'm amazed the BBC are reporting that the Fire Bobbies and HSE aren't happy with the floating death traps in waiting that our Home Secreetary wants to force the male half of what she calls "illegal migrants" into (or onto). Yes the typo is intentional, she has had more leaks in the past than the barge has at the moment. When she was taken to court last week and wrapped on the knuckles (yet again) for not paying asylum seakers a miserly £3/week to help feed their kids (on what for £3/week???) it didn't make it onto the BBC News or the BBC Website.

That they are reporting anything at all, whether you like it or not North of the Border, is an effort of Herculean proportions on their behalf, given they've (allegedly) barely enough reporters (that matter) to go round the side streets of London and/or Manchester since they merged UK & World news services and scripts are all approved in Downing Street before they go out on air anyway. It's independance long went down the swanny. Mates abroad that weren't seeing the morning and evening shit we were are now seeing the shit we are and realising the BBC isn't anything like as independant as it was long respected for being.
