Thread to talk about football and wednesday in general
It's kind of like the Eddie Jones philosophy on rugby ..it won't last long infact it was probably a one off as teams will be wise to this now .

Fair play to Schumaker, he actually had a working plan the players could competently execute.

No chance of Moore quitting. Which is why I said Chansiri will bottle it Friday morning and "We'll go again" next season after "Dusting ourselves down"
Another season of ugly, bottling football at extortionate prices.

Luton and Coventry.. You're right, Imre. One of these are going to be loaded and playing Premier League football next season.

We've taken massive steps backwards whilst these Clubs have figured out what our great Chairman will never be able to.

Nothing great will ever be achieved without great men, and men are great only if they are determined to be so. For glory gives herself only to those who have always dreamed of her.

We don't even seem to be able to clean the Stadium.
The outside walls and the paint job are a disgrace.

It feels like most aspects of our Club infrastructure are still operating in 1990.

I bet you could find fax machines in the office cupboards.

I hope Leeds beat West Ham tomorrow and/or Leicester do the same to Newcastle. It's not that I'm bothered about either of them staying up, I just want f'ucking Everton to stop spunking it and finally go down.

I was saying that earlier to my son-in-law, its way overdue for them to have to take the drop at least once!!

Have you seen the car park/bomb site opposite the kop Laugh

I know it's privately owned but any other club would have bought this land and put some asphalt down just to make the area surrounding the ground look tidy Thumb up and make a fortune (a day or two's pay for Barry) on match days Doh

If it was bought and then cleared of all the shite and laid out properly you could fit at least a 1000 cars on it and then there's also the potential for other events like car boot sales, markets, Summer fairs etc. All revenue for the club.

Also, when the training ground is waterlogged, it would be ideal for DM to set up some cones for the players to run round Whistle

I have always said that about that land. I believe it was sold last year to a developer.
