Thought you might have had a cheeky bet on The Blunts somewhere Wakey. Big Grin

Another head coach that has a clue what he's doing would be a start. The players will follow.

When Warnock took over we had 7 wins and 8 draws. I said to a mate, and maybe on here after he proclaimed we were doomed the weekend before, that we'd need another 7 wins to stay up. The thing was, I couldn't see where we'd get that many points from.

Well we got 6 wins and 3 draws - so same difference really. I don't think Warnock knew where we'd get them from either when he looked at the fixture list.

No I didn't put a cheeky bet on it either. My bets on Town frequently go straight into the Joe Coral holiday fund.

That was a brilliant result.
Rubbish 1st half but excellent 2nd.
Deserved the win......great goal by Ward.

The EFL’s April manager of the month awards have been announced, and unsurprisingly they go to three promotion winners: Sheffield United’s Paul Heckingbottom gets the Championship gong, Kieran McKenna is rewarded for Ipswich’s unstoppable charge to sealing a top-two place in League One, and Steve Evans is League Two’s manager of the month for steering Stevenage over the line.

Good to see "The Curse" kicked in the day before it was announced this time Laugh

I criticized The Grauniad for ignoring us for playing on the "wrong days" for their Championship round ups recently, which is mostly written by the PA anyway - then they go and do this.

Well May the 4th is quite often known as Star Wars Day. It ought to be Yorkshire Yorkshire Yorkshire Day. Ten years to the day after we had that brilliant finish to the game against Barnsley, we had this.........

Thought you might hold them to a draw and was pretty sure Warnock wouldn't let you lose to Reading if it mattered, but a win was brilliant. I AM SO PLEASED FOR YOU.

He may have been one of the worst and least-involved players I've seen play for Chesterfield, but he puts energy, commitment and intelligence into management. Warnock inSPIRES. Wish we had some of it for tomorrow.

Leeds have tried to copy you and Palace with Sam Allardyce.

Now you need to start sniffing around for a few lower-league bargains ready to step up to the Championship next season. Or maybe you are going to have a bit of cash behind you to spend wisely .........

CONGRATULATIONS AND JUBILATIONS oh shut the f up Cliff!

It takes 3 or 4 games at least to get the players onside with new ideas, though Everton had a crap defence a few seasons back when Allardyce suddenly made them a lot better when he took over just before we played them. Think he had a bit more than a couple of days prep before we played them and we weren't a Man City either. Don't think 4 games is enough to save them, unless it's on goal difference.

Well big Sam is doing a great job at Leeds keeping it down to a 2-1 loss.

Give over, Snooty! City should've been 8 or 9 up before Leeds scored. Haaland in particular, being generous in missing the target.
