I have an autistic son, who I'm taking to Vegas when he's 18 so I have every sympathy with real cases of mental health problems, I witness it everyday of my life. I just get the feeling that Mr Carlile is trying his best to get off with the drinking and driving charge, his solicitor even lied to the court and said he was in a coma, whilst hoping to secure a job as a TV pundit on the sympathy vote. He didn't seem to be very depressed when he was at the PFA jumping all over the likes of Suarez and spouting his crap about how the black footballer is discriminated against

Yes, Thurnscoe is right, you need to be 21 to drink and gamble in the US. You could take him to Nigara Falls in Canada where they have a lot of casinos and the drinking age is 18, but the gambling age is 19, so only have to wait a year longer.
That's what this thread is for...anything not related to Wednesday.
Someone brought up the topic of attempted suicide - not me, incidentally. People who attempt suicide are for the most part sufferers of mental illness. Then, it became apparent that there were some misconceptions about how people with mental illnesses can think straight or not, whether they should feel remorseful, etc. Nothing wrong with this conversation. Plenty of other threads to talk about football.

Don't know the details thurnscoe. Think it's run its course unless someone else wants to bring it up.
Didn't maddix say something about a bj? Haven't had one of them for a while.
