It really is hard to vote either way as 99% of MP's are in it for themselves and you basically have to choose who you think will shaft you the least.

I don't doubt it at all. Having lived here for 20 plus years I am completely out of touch with who is who in the political world and just see the main stuff. The Tories are killing the UK, the others might be just as bad but we will never know for sure as long as people keep voting in the devil you know rather than the devil you may or may not know!!!

The brainwashing and conspiracy theories need to be called out as well, this is straight out of the Republican playbook over here, rather than comment or talk about actual policies, lets talk about something that gets the juices flowing, lets throw some red meat to the wolves, and that is what immigration is, its done out of fear and its a tactic to take everyone's focus off the real issues that actually matter!!

I'm well aware of all the blind siding Chaz. Everyone has forgotten that the price of petrol, gas and electricity is going to shut down our economy.

Take ordinary Joe like me. I normally take 6 to 8 weekend breaks a year putting between £500-£1000 into the local economy of wherever I go (hotels, pubs, cafes, distilleries  Whistle , shops, spas) each time. This won't be happening this year. I'll be lucky to do three. That's not even considering the amount I used to spend on day trips and eating out once a week locally which isn't happening anymore.

Now I must not be the only one in this position so multiply that amount by even just a million people and you can see how much is being taken out small businesses pockets and handed over to energy company shareholders instead. On top of the exorbitant amount they are now paying in energy overheads, this amount of lost custom is going to close a lot of it down resulting in more unemployment, less money and a vicious spiral.

They're pretending to support 'people on benefits' and the rich can afford it but there's an whole swathe of people in between who have been left to fend for themselves by government policy. These are the ones who keep most of industry going by spending their hard earned on cars, household goods (I don't think I'm allowed to say white), furniture, holidays, restaurants, pubs, clubs, gyms, cinemas, zoos, takeaways, theatres, spas, football clubs etc. I can almost guarantee that the majority of these will, like me, be forced to rein in their spending.

And all people can talk about is Gary Lineker  Laugh

Not wrong at all , SCO
To be fair some of what you addressed has been mentioned here.
From Tory and Labour politicians benefitting through dividends in these energy companies that are raping us, to their divisive rhetoric on immigration which is nothing new.
There's still the fact that we're not allowed to have a real discussion about the issues that our immigration system have created, especially regarding the religious community....

People are going under. This year will finish breaking the backs of the working class and even the middle class is feeling the sting now.
Unfettered capitalism will always devour everything in its path.
Next month they're going to announce a freeze on raising energy bills as if it's doing us a favour, to soften the blow when it does happen in reality.
Because it is happening, corporate greed hasn't raked in enough billions apparently.
The artificial scarcity of goods and food all to inflate prices. An entirely rigged market where you're trapped and unable to buy goods abroad without heavy importation duties making the purchases unviable.

The further reality is all the crap rolls downhill, of course. And there's nobody further down the ladder than the English Serf. Exempt from human rights.
We've only ourselves to blame at this point for never having the balls to stand up and take back all they've stolen from us.
Hanging a few Tories from lamp posts and bridge's in big cities to send out the message, would be my cup of tea but apparently I'm barbaric.

You should be so lucky! You might get close to the bracket but taxes soon bring you back to earth. Need one of those offshore things like Geldof and Bono.

I hear being a consultant is quite lucrative though and will earn more than your main job Laugh

Gary's now made a nice long winded statement saying he's happy to be working at the "best and fairest broadcaster in the world "

Seems I was right about his character. And he continues to be part of the problem.

According to him, in his £4.9M tax dispute with HMRC, he's a freelancer and doesn't work for the BBC Whistle

Must be another one of these 'Consultants'

I wonder what all those Muppets that spent the week defending this man against the tyranny of the BBC think about him making the statement about the "best and fairest" broadcaster and how stupid they now look themselves because of it all.
The BBC being Tory to the bone for decades and some are acting like it's just happened lol
As expected, the man has no integrity and towed the line as I knew he would.

His selective outrage is nauseating.
Seems like Ukrainian asylum seekers aren't up to par, is it because they're white, perhaps?
Does he know how they're being treated differently to the religious communities asylum seekers? I bet not.

Gas explosion in Swansea.. How many times are they going to keep calling people making bombs at home 'Gas leaks'?
Propaganda is ceaseless. Look at the state of the aftermath Laugh Gas explosion pmsl
At least the twat killed himself and nobody else

Tory games and Tory division. All done very deliberately. Deeply embedded and politically driven.
Don't look what the Tories are up to, it's budget time for you peasants!
Big corporations are about to service us all in the rear more than ever.

Even Mcvities want to take 3 more digestives out of the packet FFS and a Penguin/Club out of your multipacks because.. Putin did it lol
