I caught a programme on BBC2 last night called Back in Time in Birmingham.

The amount of things that happened back in the 70's is happening right now in the 2020's

It's amazing how life goes round in circles and how people from all walks of life fail to learn from previous mistakes

People come and go TBF Wakey! New generations of people arrive on the scene and sheer fickleness prevails amongst a big chunk of the populace apart from those who have some kinda political nous about them or those who are historically educated re the previous worst forms of political and extreme governance ever witnessed in this country and abroad. I can't be the only person perceiving a common trend where horrible people/criminals posing in govt (many of them undemocratically elected!!) seem to be pervading lots of different countries worldwide and inflicting human rights abuses and terror upon their own people (and others) with very little recourse/action emanating from the international community. It is very concerning and there appears no improvement whatsoever as the years go by.

What utter twaddle!!!! Thumb down Lineker never mentioned Jews or anything to do with Jews!!!!! This is real nasty, fascist politics being played out by these Tory-Brexit bastards who are really poisoning the whole political landscape and culture in England, definitely creating a culture war of unimaginable significance. I concur with Jim re there being a major threat to the moral fabric of society in this country although I still perceive that up here in Scotland, that threat has been suppressed even though these bastards have tried hard to cross our borders and infect our pluralist society/culture with their toxic shit. There are lots n lots of Scots well aware of this threat and it has been debated and highlighted often enough with warnings by many politically savvy folk who have been observing this shit for a long time.

Now the arch racist, Braverman, following up and trying to cynically use the holocaust victims and descendants as some kinda rhetorical shield to hit back at Gary Lineker's critical comments. This is the horrible position we are in now with shameless, immoral bastards like Braverman and her ilk trying to suppress free speech because it doesn't agree with their way of thinking and they are amazingly still in government to dictate this shit. Boyyyyy!!! It's gonna be a long wait to finally see all these shameless Brexit charlatans removed from their positions of power that they have abused for far too long with no remorse whatsoever.

Well hello - even her own Party have warned her about spouting this kind of inflammatory shit in the first place. MP's have died as a result of this inflammatory stuff. This woman is supposed to be the top (or one of the top) legal brains in the country, yet she can't work out whether or not Mo Farah is a legal immigrant or an illegal after being trafficked here as a kid, under her proposed new "laws". She likely can't work out whether she is or not too.

If the BBC was really impartial it would be calling her out for it big time rather than allowing the attacks on Lineker for saying it as it is. Then she denies sending or approving an email that has her name all over it that has right royally pissed off the minions in Whitehall. Just how many people do these folk in the top jobs in the country allow to have use of their personal email addresses? Seriously? Finally she claims she's upset at Gary Lineker's comments as her husband is Jewish. Well, let's hear what he actually thinks about what you just said.

Oh, and he apparently works for Mercedes.

Yes, quite.

Pathetic - but it's OK for the bloke at the top of the BBC to find someone to help someone else line Bodgit's pockets just before he gets appointed to that particular job. No conflict of interest there is there?

A pathetic action indeed!! I hope there is a huge public backlash on the back of this political sham!! Ironically, this is 1930s Germany methods of suppressing opponents in full view. Taking control of the media/press and forcing home their extreme RW views in any way they can do it under some kinda "bumped up" charge where their fascist demands are met and doing it with impunity. What really angers me re this whole shameless episode is the poisonous nature of their attempts to dehumanise vulnerable groups of people, eroding the whole principle of human rights and showing compassion for fellow human beings in dire straits plus shamelessly changing the laws of this country to do it. Note in the 1930s Hitler and his cohorts did something very similar in changing certain people's rights through the judiciary while lots n lots of good people watched on and did nothing while others who objected were terrorised with outlandish bullying tactics deployed in suppressing the right to freedom of speech. This govt and the RW shits who have been acting in this extreme way for years must be brought down IMO. I wish they were removed tomorrow and finally see an end to this nightmare that has gradually unfolded after the toxic, lying campaign attached to the Brexit con and witnessing a political party and a govt shamelessly usurped by these bastards.

And a big backlash ensues as BBC sports hammered by staff solidarity on Gary Lineker's stance and a political assault against truth and freedom of speech. I personally regard Tim Davies' position as untenable - a Tory supporting minion/infiltrator who was politically appointed by these Tory charlatans during Johnson's PM tenure. The same goes for another Tory senior appointee, Richard Sharp. Their board is riddled with Tory minions!! These senior appointments are political ones in an employment system that is flawed in the fact they are political actions rather than being appointments that should be independently assessed with impartiality very high up on the list of pre-requisites. The whole senior appointments' system is rotten to the core and clearly "not fit for purpose"!! Many decent BBC people like David Attenborough and David Dimbleby realise how rotten this has become since the toxic Brexit issue took hold of the country. Others BBC hosts like Emily Maitliss and Andrew Marr left after enduring this kinda fascist diktat/narrative for far too long.
