Anyway, that's the first trophy in the silverware cabinet, albeit not the greatest of matches and a tad 'scrappy' on occasions. God help Rangers tattered reputation when they come to Easter Road in 10 days time as there will be a special memorial for Ron Gordon before this home match on Wednesday night. Perhaps HFC should give them no away tickets and open up the South Stand to Hibs fans who wish to "pay their respects" to him. Now that would be something - a good against evil gesture that goes hand in hand with the poison/unsporting behaviour that never disappeared from them since they were dramatically dismantled by Hibs in the dying mins of the 2016 Scottish Cup final.
