Ainsworth leaves Wycombe to take QPR job.

While I don't think they could catch us at this stage, they were definitely a thorn in the side of a lot of teams near the top and still have to play some of them, so it will be interesting to see if they continue to be that and push for the POs.

We played them twice and beat them twice ..while this is news for Wycombe..it means xxxx all to us !

Give him half a season and maybe another and QPR might be challenging again for the premiership.

i think Charlies point was that Wycombe might not take as many points off our closer rivals rather than catch us and that puts a bit more pressure on us to keep winning/drawing.

In other news if anyone wants to go to Madrid do it soon before the scousers decide to wreck it while being ‘oppressed’ by the Spanish authorities in the away leg.

Correct Washington, Wycombe are a team in form having won 8 of their last 10, only we have better form. They won't trouble us but during that run they lost to us and Plymouth but have beaten Bolton, Derby and Ipswich. They still have to play Barnsley and Ipswich so an in form team might take more points of the chasing pack.

On the subject of the scousers, after that second half capitulation to Real Madrid lets hope they decide not to go to the return leg!!!
