2014-15 Second Half & January Transfer Window
I still think May will come good. We have to stop looking at everything now and look a couple of years ahead with this kind of signing. Recently we had Neil Lennon saying how good he thought May was and at £750k he thinks we've got a steal

How long does 'International Clearance' take? Any chance of seeing Bus and Melo on Saturday? Or do we have a waiting game for the ink to dry and papers to be stamped?

I knew you would be the font of all knowledge Imre. Thanks. May not rush to Thrillsborough this Saturday then. Could not face watching the same same team that lost to Bolton. That was depressing in the extreme (the blizzard freezing my face off may have clouded my judgement!!)

I'm only 20 and I am sat here wondering when our chance to get knocked out of the FA cup in a 4th round replay with Preston will happen

There isn't any international clearance anymore for players from the EU is there?? Melo I think should be able to play immediately, not sure about Bus though. There has been no mention of any delays and all the reports I have seen has said they are all in contention to play.

Just one more thing to add on missing Antonio. His pace, goals & assists stand out obviously but we also miss his long throws. We have had a number of players that have taken long throws with Spurr, BM10 & Wickham all able to make any throw-in in the opposition half effectively a corner but Antonio was the best of all of them.

Now, we don't seem to know what to do with throw ins. Generally, we just throw it for Nuhui to flick on which loses us the ball 80% of the time. Near the opposition box, our main striker comes short, leaving us with no-one in the box.
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

Here is a good article about expectations for OWLS fans.

Going back to the long throw bit. Our main threat in the box from Antonio's throw-ins were Llera and Reda Cool
and complicated
