Most footie pundits seem to focus on contact and trying to justify the award of a pk based on contact rather than focusing on a player actually "making" the contact and deliberately looking for the award. We called it "simulation" before and it seems like that kinda reference is being implicitly suppressed for what reason? Is it because it damns the chancer who attempts to gain another unjustified pk by effectively cheating? Note Rangers Kent is well up there in that category of chancer.

No surprise that the huns have not had one penalty awarded against them all season. ffs
Stewart Dougal sent out to do the press rounds about the decisions this weekend, including the pk against us. Same old, same old circle the wagons shit from the SFA.

Here are some decent suggested rule amendments from a Bundesligue ref to eradicate some of the most irritating offences committed by players on the field of play.
Also note in season 2020-21 Rangers similarly had no pens awarded against them apart from a December league cup tie away (not a league match btw) to Saint Mirren when they were eliminated. You really had to read some of the partisan bullshit Hun response uttered in The National newspaper when that fact was raised by a number of readers, incl myself, with a huge question mark esp after watching one match at Ibronx when a Hibs player, Newell, almost getting his head kicked off in the Rangers pen box by Hagi, and with the ref standing about four feet from the incident and shamelessly acting as though nothing had happened!!! Who was that referee? None other than Golum, the minion who made up that VAR decision against Hibs on Sunday!!! I also believe there are few referees (if any!) who will rail against any VAR review from another ref associate who they know. That's why I believe a secondary ref official in the VAR office should not be closely associated to any match official. IMO a referee should have an absolute right to hold to his original decision if he feels it was the right call and esp re very debatable incidents.

The match referee does have the right to stand by his original decision if he feels it was right.
Hearts being kept above the relegation zone because of VAR decisions, you don’t half talk some xxxx pish

Is it though ?
The facts show hertz have benefitted heavily from penalties since VARs introduction. You only have to look at Shanklands stats to see that.
Hertz also have a manager who is an expert at piling pressure on officials.

Neilson "playing" ref officials Jim?? Such a nice lad too eh lol!! He's been "at it" for years together with his colluding sidekick in the dugout!! However, also reflect back to the histrionics of the "Budgie" a couple of years ago after Hertz were officially deemed to be relegated in unprecedented circumstances during the COVID lockdown!!! Remember the anger, the angst, the paranoia displayed by Budge during that period, some of it absolutely embarrassing particularly when one realised the football club was actually "at the bottom of the Scot Prem" and playing shit!!! We were not the only footie league having to apply such tough measures although you would've thought that was the case in the way that Budge and Hertz responded!! They eventually accepted their downgraded fate, BUT was there a trade-off following all those histrionics?????? Was there a method to the madness??? In other words, we sympathise and "we'll see you alright eventually"???? Who knows!!? But there has been a strong suspicion in some Scot footie circles re that period and what followed since then. It will never be proved, but we may well be observing some of this shit even now - call it the "sympathy factor" and it ties in nicely with the stats where they have definitely been "bailed out" of matches by favourable ref decisions for them on incidents that are deemed different (if not worse offences!!) for other Scot footie clubs that have lost out!!!! The video evidence is absolutely glaring and raises rightful criticism of what rules and standards we are following because they are not consistent "across the board"??

The whole game in scotland is bent as xxxx, you certainly have to wonder about match fixing and gambling.
The whole rangers liquidation scandal showed that undeniably anyway, with a footballing authority that was actively helping a member club bend the rules and ignoring them when they cheated.... And that was only after Murray and his funny handshake mates at BOS weren't able to prop them up with dodgy money.
And of course who can forget Mad Vlad and his financial doping at hertz. The full details of which were never revealed. He spent over 50 million more than their income remember !!

Lotsa creditors who were owed money "shafted" and never compensated btw!! Add in the cheating that suddenly "came to a head" after a certain Scotland international match at Hampden Park eh!! Suddenly a lotta Scot footie people were "pointing the finger" at Tynecastle and what they had been getting away with for a long time without a proper challenge on what was actually going on - a culture of blatant cheating!! How fickle footie people are when it comes to this kinda shit esp in the Scot footie media, really despicable stuff that reeks of cover-up!!

Fair enough Jim, all about opinions. Re Hearts penalties, in your opinion, how many were not justified? Not sure how Neilson can” pile pressure “ on a VAR guy sitting in an office in Glasgow.
