Plymouth just lost their top scorer Whittaker, who has been recalled to Swansea. Rumours also that he might now be sold and Ipswich have been mentioned.

Arsenal have been rock solid this season and they couldn't break down the Toons at home.
We've absolutely no chance not even against just 4 or 5 of that first team.

We can't risk any of ours to injury either at this critical stage in the season..
I genuinely hope he sort of throws the game.
Promotion is everything, absolutely everything to us not a one in a hundred thousand gamble on a cup

They've not been dithering though and have already brought in two players. Pushing for promotion rather than relying on what they have and hoping for it.

Plymouth have signed a Kiwi international striker. A LB and Midfielder.

Huddersfield signed Kamberi Laugh

But us, no. Nobody.

It's January 5th, so long time still to go. Our squad need tweaking not wholesale changes so I would prefer they take their time and get the right players in rather than just anybody for the sake of it.

Disagree Chaz. We should have identified the players we want already. Plymouths new players will be bedded in by the end of January whereas IF we actually sign anyone at the end of the window they won't be firing until the end of March using Bungle methodology.

Plymouth signings

20 year old LB who has played 20 times for Stevenage

New Zealand striker who has 27 goals in 91 appearances in the New Zealand league

Callum Wright who has played 61 times for Blackpool & Cheltenham

Imagine if we had signed those players, DC & DM would have been slaughtered by the fans

Nothing great will ever be achieved without great men, and men are great only if they are determined to be so. For glory gives herself only to those who have always dreamed of her.

Plus I would put money on it that none of these make their first team unless they have injuries.

Identifying prospects and then getting them over the line are two different things. Two of these guys were signed before the January window because they had no ties to prevent them from being signed.

Plymouth lost their top scorer and the one with the most assists, they need to move fast to replace him, Wright is likely to be that player but he is a distinct step down from Whittaker. We have needs, but as we stand its going to be some signing that goes straight into our first 11. Now if we lose McGuinness that might change.

I see Wigan have signed a player called R. Willmott, could it be a comeback for a certain Mexico resident or is it a family member!! Whistle
