As the two matches above it resulted in draws, this is officially the highest-scoring Test that's ever been won.

Another corker unfolding to warm up a freezing Sunday morning. England maybe should have eked out another fifty runs in their second innings, because Pakistan are showing real grit at the crease, but a couple of wickets would change everything. 198-4 at close, 157 more needed.

Well, after taking forty years to win their first two and another twenty to contemplate them, England have now doubled their total number of Test wins in Pakistan in the space of a fortnight. Another gripping morning, and you have to hand it to Stokes, he imposes his will to win on every single game.

Well. From a terrible tour of the West Indies to a brilliant 3-0 win in Pakistan. That's some turnaround.

Well done lads.

First team ever to whitewash Pakistan on their soil, and Rehan Ahmed went from youngest England Test debutant to youngest man ever to take a five-fer on debut. Incredible to think that this time last year we were watching Rory Burns fall to the first ball of the Ashes. I think the coming six months may be long enough for Australia to do their homework and come up with a gameplan against Bazball, but I can't wait to see how it unfolds next summer.

England travel to Bangladesh in March for the first time since autumn 2016, playing six white-ball games to fulfil the Covid-postponed tour from 2021. Fixtures added to the list.

England chasing 299 in the 1st ODI. Could go down to the wire this one.

England need 68 runs to win from 14.4 overs, with 5 wickets left.

All over. Defeat from the jaws of victory.
