Public opinion re Brexit now at an all-time low!! And about time too!!! What still concerns me is the fact that there are still some dimwits out there who still think it was a good idea!! NUTS!!

Those who park their companies and their brass offshore so they pay us nowt in tax still think it is. Not a sniff of Amazon and their ilk paying more here in tax as that then opens the doors to the erm, Non-Doms paying their fair share of tax at source too. However else it was sold to protect their billions was mostly to appeal to the furriner 'ating masses and little ingerlunders who reckoned the great British Empire and many other parts of the globe that were never painted pink would welcome us back with open arms, wallets and with a fair wind, possibly legs so we could royally shaft them all from all angles yet again. That's worked out well so far hasn't it?

Anyone paying attention to the OBR stuff yesterday and Hunts interview should know the game is up on brexit. Even the tories know its causing immense damage to the country and if it wasn't for the ERG and Boris in the wings we would be re-syncing our economy closer to Europes already.

And still the tory oven ready deal is not being implemented properly, putting off measures that were agreed.

Highly telling that lots of people wanted to talk about the subject in the question time audience but the politicians of all types just had their fingers in their ears going la-la-la.

Brexshit happened, let's ignore it though and maybe it will go away ... until we go back cap in hand ... as long as we don't have to use the Euro ..................

It's the biggest political conspiracy I have ever witnessed in my lifetime and the impudence attached to Tories and Labour people who are attempting to embrace and normalise Brexit in the face of clear failures and mounting public criticism is absolutely astonishing and seriously disrespectful.

Yep! The first sign of concession re an absolute shambles! Amazing that there are still Brexit nut jobs "ready to pounce" and still happy to see the country go under regardless of the consequences. I wonder when the charlatan, Farage, will show up eh!?

About 5 years too late - 5 years in which we went from having a reasonable chance of genuine co-operation between the whole of Europe and the eventual Brexit shambles which has cost us dearly.

It is now painfully apparent that Brexit was a mistake and majority opinions all over the country confirming that fact. However, it's a mistake that cannot be admitted by anyone, let alone fixed! The Brit govt's agenda remains a characteristically Tory one - authoritarian, British nationalist, anti-constitutional, anti-European, pro-rich, anti-worker, anti-public servs. Fundamental human rights, democracy itself and ethics in public life continue to be under strain. Johnsonism is still there in a govt that is essentially out of control. In abandoning Europe, it has destroyed the economic foundations of the whole economy. In effect, forego the global pressures, the UK has, in effect, placed itself under an economic blockade and destroyed its own export industry. Even if there was a shift in political opinion re this gross mistake, IMO the UK has lost the trust and confidence of its Euro allies and genuine repentance is required plus re-constituting the state itself. The Brexit genie sadly cannot be put back in the bottle - a sad indictment of the lie, the con, the whole conspiracy of Brexit.
