Gardner snapped his Achilles so that's nothing to do with the physios.

Kieran Lee is just one of those players that will be injured a high percentage of the time. Of you remember, when we signed him there was complications surrounding his medical.

I though Alan Smith and his son were still at Wednesday?

The whole point of Injury Prevention is is to make ligaments & tendons more flexible so they don't snap.

I think officially, they are consultants now but the Injury Prevention has stopped.

Gardner is another that's been injured throughout his career. If you buy injury prone players then you have to expect them to spend time in the treatment room

Agree with that & Hutchinson is another punt on the injury front.

My point is that we should do more to reduce preventable injuries.

But nobody knows what the medical team are upto. That's my point. They could have already prevent numerous injuries this year but we would never find out about that

When Lee Strafford brought in the new medical team, there were two "Injury Prevention" guys who did particular stretching exercises with all the players to to make their muscles, ligaments & tendons more flexible.

This stopped nearly two years ago & the players don't do the injury prevention exercises. The medical team might do a decent job with injuries but it is far better to put the work in to prevent them in the first place.

Wednesday still have an injury prevention coach. He takes the players for the stretching etc before and after training. I also know that the squad have regular yoga and reflexology sessions

Well he certainly isn't as good as the two MM got rid of about two years ago because we have been regularly hit by muscles & ligament injuries since they went.
