SKY just reporting that there would have been mass insolvency of pension funds today had the bank of england not intervened.

Thats plenty now. Its time that pair, their hedge fund backers and ERG loonballs were told quite swiftly to get to xxxx.

Tax at a 70 year high please explain to me how taking money from people will encourage growth. Cast your minds back two years everyone wanted lockdown we spaffed 400 million of dirt cheap money into the system to pay people to sit at home on their arse's
We are now hammering another 200 million into the system to pay every ones energy bills this winter.

If you do your research you will see that every currency in the world is tanking at the moment apart from one the Dollar. The Euro has been below parity with the Dollar since June and with Nord Stream completely screwing up German industry will only go one way.
By the way the pound ended higher today than yesterday.

As for the IMF strangely silent when ploughing 400 million into the economy yet go ape about a tax cut that will bring in a grand total of 1 billion. They don't want us to diverge from the EU way of working.

As for finding money from the Public Service there are easy targets, the NHS has a range of Diversity jobs pay range from 20,000 to 100000 per year ask yourself what do the do on the front line if the answer is nothing then they should go.

Finally the 40% tax rate didn't seem to be a problem between 1988 to 2010 and it is an easy win for the Treasury. After all Kir said they are coming to the rescue with a Nationilised power system based on the French on the company that is presently suing it's own Government. And as for Beaker's net zero by 2030 working well in the EU at the moment.

That's my take you'll disagree no problem with that but you are being played by the Media as you were with last years non existant petrol shortage heads up though there is a tanker strike coming up so ensure tanks are full

Forgot to add when watching the TV it's always unnamed sources providing information, let's have them named might make the information more credible

No Covid and flu jab together TMC? What's the reasoning behind that advice? Note I could be at the wrong end of these jabs next month.

I know loads of people that had them together last year. As far as I know they have neither grown nor lost appendages or suffered other ill effects. I've been notified to book my seasonal Covid jab by my doctors. You go on one NHS web page its says "available for over 50's plus those with illness etc." You go on the page where you try to book the jab and it says "over 65's unless you are seriously ill etc." Go figure I'm 64 next month and don't qualify for the "seriously ill etc." bit. Arses and elbows obviously not knowing where they should be in this case (again) and I can't get the flu jab at the same surgery where I might eventually be able to get the Covid booster jab.

Elsewhere after removing "responsible adults from the room" two kids have been let loose in the sweet shop with not a clue or care for what the consequences will be.

Would themaclad care to show how the pound has performed against all those other major currencies and not just the US dollar and while he's at it the mighty Columbian, Mexican and Dominican Peso's?
Or doesn't it fit his argument?

So basically, the Pound is tanking against everything and anything (including the mighty Rouble) except the Chinese Yuan, which it rebounded against after a couple of days of severe hiccups. This has nothing to do with the announcement on Friday, just like the Pound diving into the tank the morning the Brexit result was announced had nothing to do with the Brexit announcement I suppose? The Brexit benefit from that was it never recovered enough to drown out that noise but it made our exports to the EU cheaper as a result. How did that work out in the long run?

Same party in power, just a different bunch of morons in charge, drinking all the Kool Aid and eating all the blue Smarties. Someone lock up the Sweet Shop please and by the way % changes skew the reality. If something was worth two pence yesterday and a penny today it's lost 50% of it's value, but it's actually only lost a penny.

You seem reluctant to show the actual lost currency values.

It's been announced that HRH died of "Old Age". Given she's had all manner of ailments for the last year and more (that "The Palace" have kept quiet about) it's highly convenient.

I still say she lost the will to live after having to shake hands with Bodgit and Lizzy Dripping within half-an-hour of each other two days before. She really didn't want to hang around for the next lying or swivel eyed moron the Tories would have foisted on her whilst trying to knock one last 4 (years) over the boundary ropes.

Dizzy Lizzy fact checked

Meanwhile - down at Radio Local - with more to come tomorrow ...

If all else fails, we could just frack it.

Meanwhile, despite landing on Rish!'s doorstep to remind him where Darlington is, it's not in Scotland despite being on the same sign as Scotch Corner as you leave Rish!'s home in Richmond, North Yorkshire, (not the one in that there Larndan), and no doubt using the most expensive 1st Class Ticket available to put on his expense claims for the month, Kwayzi Kwarteng says benefits won't rise in line with inflation, well pretty much in line with the Tory policy of removing benefits from those they think they are all are slackers anyway. Think you are poor? Just wish yourself rich under this bunch of slave masters. Wonder if he went to Specsavers in Durham or Barnard Castle for an eye test while he was up there? He could have got a free hearing test in Specsavers if he had done so. He seems to need one.

She's been there for less than a month, has had at least 10 days off for we all know why, and has trashed all faith in the Tory party since Friday. Carry on Dizzy Miss Lizzy. The sooner you clowns go the better.

What is so noticeable re dizzy Lizzy is the number of Tories who have explicitly called her out publicly as "clueless". Ken Clarke, an ex-Chancellor with some kinda economic nous about him, just doesn't rate her at all and no wonder.
