LAST MATCH
Back to playing football and we got back to winning ways with a dominant performance as we swept aside Morecombe. We were on the front foot from the off but despite having 14 attempts we could only put 2 on target, which there keeper saved. Onto the second half and we continued our dominance but were testing there keeper more. But we had to wait until the 70th minute before we took the lead, Windass heading in Bazza's cross. A few mins later and it was 2, Byers this time heading in Bazza's corner. We made it 3 when Smith made some space in the box and finished clinically.
THE MATCH
Up next the league leaders as Ipswich make the trip to Hillsborough. They have made a great start to the season winning 6 of there first 8 games and drawing the other 2. Connor Chaplin is there leading scorer with 6 goals and 1 assist. They are managed by Kieran McKenna who has been in charge since 2021. They missed out on the playoffs last season and will be looking to progress this season and with the start they have made they should be there or thereabouts come the end of the season.

Nothing great will ever be achieved without great men, and men are great only if they are determined to be so. For glory gives herself only to those who have always dreamed of her.
