LAST MATCH
We bounced back from the Peterborough defeat with a good win at Bolton. Bolton had a few chances before we took the lead when there defender hit a terrible back pass which was put back into play by there goalie, we recovered the ball and Bannan squared for Byers to slide home. It was 0-2 a few mins later when Windass fed PALMER who fired for a very rare goal. Onto the second half and Windass some how missed from close range and Bakinson also failed on a one on one. We saw the game game out fairly comfortably and moved up to fourth position.
THE MATCH
Next up and a team we have never played before as Forest Green Rovers make the trip to Hillsborough. They have only been a league club for 5 years, but have achieved a promotion already. Ian Burchnall is there manager, appointed after there old manager left to take charge of Watford. They will be looking to stay up this season after promotion last season, where they won the League 2 title. They do have a former player of ours, Connor Wickham, in there squad and has managed a goal so far this season. The United Nations has recognised Forest Green Rovers as the world’s first carbon-neutral football club and it was described by FIFA as the “greenest team in the world".

Nothing great will ever be achieved without great men, and men are great only if they are determined to be so. For glory gives herself only to those who have always dreamed of her.
