Rangers "on the brink" of CL elimination!

FT and a 2-0 defeat in Belgium by Union Saint-Gilloise, Rangers massively jammy to avoid a 4-0 or 5-0 "skelping" v a team that is clearly far better than them with fast penetrative attacks and the Belgian winger, Lynen, a class above the rest with some scintillating wing play that Rangers defenders just couldn't handle at all. USG also defensively solid with Sykes, who previously played for Accrington Stanley in lower league English footie, having a vg game v Rangers.

Let's face it, it's a result for those scummy bastards..... They should have been out the tie last night and they were fortunate to win at the weekend.

USG were by far the better side and brushed the Sevco players off the ball like they weren't there. That boy Matondo looked like he'd won a competition to play for them, and Tav (pen) was ripped apart by their winger.

Kris Boyd moaning about VAR afterwards..... You really couldn't make it up. Clearly forgotten all his pish from last season.

Stunning result for Rangers to overcome their 2-0 deficit from the first leg. They now move on to the next round where they will face a PSV side who needed extra time to beat Monaco, you have to think this will be a tougher test than this round for Rangers?

Hardly a stunning result. Until USG had a brainfart b4 halftime they were very comfortable. Then the atmosphere got to them.

Ref looked like he'd got his brown envelope in the car park.

Well said!! A forensic examination of the match details certainly removes the word stunning although the unionist press salivating over a little known team from Belgium being "turned over" at Ibronx (WTF their CB was thinking about 30 secs before HT is beyond me - it certainly wasn't "keep your hands behind your back", that's for sure - an absolute idiot or a paid "match fixer"!!) after a 1st leg where Rangers literally should've been slaughtered before this 2nd leg ever took place.

Rangers given another absolute "skelping" in Amsterdam by Ajax: 4-0 and would've been 7-0 or 8-0 if Ajax had not "taken their foot off the gas" in the second half. Well seen their coaches had watched Rangers very lucky win in Eindhoven and applied the proper measures to give them an absolute "doing" in the 1st half as PSV really should've similarly done. A case of lessons learnt from that match and, by gum, they put Rangers "to the sword" - a case of WELCOME TO THE EURO CHAMPS LEAGUE!! A top-drawer team with vg players who are all comfortable on the ball, one-touch footie superb and the likes of Tadic, Taylor and others very much "in the zone"!! Don't forget they offloaded about four top players in the summer plus Antony to Man Utd. That all round performance places many Scottish players in the "huddie" category TBF!! Athletically, physically and skill-wise they are at a totally different level!! And Huns like McCoist, Hately and Miller absolutely "choking" on their unrealistic, arrogant aspirations preceding this match in The Netherlands.

When i saw McCoists coupon i thought someone had shat in his kettle Laugh But oooh i do love a good hunskelping, and thats 2 absolute doings in a space of a few days.

Sevco absolutely skelped by an Ajax team the night that didn't need to get out of lower gear. This of course all stems from their shockingly bad squad management and recruitment since Gerrard left. Tavernier absolutely shat it again after that boy ripped him to bits at the third and didn't come back out at H/T.

They are absolutely howling, xxxx knows how they reached a European final..... Still at least they are in the right city to put Morelos in a shop window...or 2 Laugh Laugh Laugh

I hope Napoli put xxxx 10 past them.

A massive reality check for them and GVB whose post-match interview finally conceded they are nowhere near the standard of the top teams of Europe for good reasons!! IMO they are not even in the middle ground of Euro footie and that's a fact.
