Northampton Town have signed Grimsby midfielder Ben Fox on a two-year deal.
The 24-year-old helped the Mariners win promotion back to League Two last season but turned down a new contract.
Fox made 36 appearances for Grimsby in 2021-22 and boss Paul Hurst said "his contribution will not be forgotten".
Cobblers manager Jon Brady told the club website: "Ben has a lot of drive, ambition and a top class work ethic. His form attracted lots of interest but he had been on our radar for a while."

Northampton Town have agreed to sign full-back Ryan Haynes on a two-year contract following his release by Newport County.
The move will be completed on 1 July when his deal with Newport expires.
The 26-year-old made 35 appearances for the League Two club during the 2021-22 season, scoring three goals.
"Ryan is a good age with over 250 senior games already under his belt and he has a lot of experience for a player in his mid 20s," said boss Jon Brady.
Haynes began his career at Coventry City before moving on to Shrewsbury Town, and he then joined Newport in the summer of 2019.
"Much of his football has been played in League One or at the top end of League Two and he comes to us ambitious to help us progress," Brady added.
"He will come in to give us depth and competition in the left-back position where he will compete with Ali Koiki for the shirt, or he can also play further forward on the left-hand side."
Haynes in Northampton's second signing since their defeat by Mansfield in the League Two play-off semi-finals, following the arrival of former Grimsby midfielder Ben Fox.

Northampton Town have signed experienced forward Danny Hylton from Luton Town on a two-year contract.
The Hatters had been talking to 33-year-old Hylton about extending his time with them, but he will now move to Sixfields on 1 July.
Hylton scored four goals in 22 games last season as Luton reached the Championship play-offs.
"He is an excellent professional and his experience and knowhow will be a real asset to us," said boss Jon Brady.
"He will fit in with our style. He has an excellent scoring record and his all-round play is good. He can help get us and keep us high up the pitch."
Hylton has been a member of five promotion-winning teams during his career, two of them back-to-back during six years at Kenilworth Road.
Luton manager Nathan Jones said: "Danny has been my best-ever signing as a manager and I am going to miss him every single day.
"He was the catalyst for all the other great signings that we have had, and has epitomised everything we have done here at Luton with his high energy, underdog spirit, the quality - just everything about us."

Northampton Town have agreed to sign goalkeeper Lee Burge on a two-year contract following his release by Championship club Sunderland.
The 29-year-old moved to Sunderland from Coventry City in 2019 and made 66 appearances for the club.
Burge played nine games in 2021-22, the last in a 5-1 Carabao Cup defeat by Premier League giants Arsenal.
"Lee is a quality addition and we are delighted to be able to bring him to the club," said boss Jon Brady.
"There was a lot of interest in his services, as you would expect for a keeper of his experience and quality, and we are delighted we have been able to fend off that interest.
"To be able to bring the League One Team of the Season keeper from 2021 to Sixfields is an excellent piece of business and a real coup for the club and his arrival is another key target in place."
Burge is Northampton's fourth summer signing, following Danny Hylton, Ryan Haynes and Ben Fox and he will complete the move on 1 July after his Sunderland contract expires.

Defender Akin Odimayo has become Northampton Town's fifth summer signing after joining the club from Swindon.
The 22-year-old has been signed on a two-year deal after a compensation package was agreed between the clubs.
Odimayo developed through the Reading Academy before joining Swindon in August 2020 and has been a regular at The County Ground for two seasons.
"He is a player with the potential to develop and improve further," manager Jon Brady told the club website.
"He is comfortable playing in a back four or five and that is important.
"We are particularly pleased to welcome him to Sixfields as we know there was interest in his services elsewhere."

Northampton Town have signed Bournemouth centre-back Sam Sherring on a two-year contract.
The clubs have agreed undisclosed compensation for the 22-year-old, who is the sixth summer signing made by the Cobblers.
Sherring did not play a first-team game for the Cherries, but had loan spells at Accrington Stanley and Cambridge United in 2021-22.
He made 29 appearances last season - 24 of them in League One.
"There has been considerable and sustained interest in him this summer from clubs at a number of different levels including some clubs in League One, and we are delighted we have been able to bring him to Sixfields," said Northampton boss Jon Brady.
"He is another strong addition to our defensive unit, and another who fits the profile of player we are looking for."
Northampton start the League Two campaign with a home game against Colchester United on 30 July, after reaching the play-offs last season.

Northampton Town have signed Fulham striker Kieron Bowie on loan for the new League Two season.
The 19-year-old started his career in Scotland with Raith Rovers before joining the Cottagers for a six-figure sum three years ago.
Bowie is the Cobblers' second signing in 24 hours after defender Harvey Lintott joined on a one-year deal.
The 19-year-old began his senior career with Gillingham but was released by the club at the end of last season.
Lintott, whose deal has the option for a further 12 months, had spent time with Northampton on trial and has featured in their pre-season friendlies against Nottingham Forest, St Mirren and Dundee United.
"He has fitted in well and we have been impressed with what we have seen," boss Jon Brady told the club's website.
Bowie, meanwhile, scored 10 goals in 39 games for Raith before helping Fulham's under-18 side win the Premier League South title in 2021 and their under-23s clinch the Premier League 2 crown last season.
"Kieron is quick, very good technically and a bright and clever player," Brady added.
"He has an excellent scoring record for a young striker and our reputation for being a club that improves players helped us win the race for his signature."

Northampton Town have signed Scotland Under-21 midfielder Marc Leonard from Brighton on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old has made two first-team appearances for Brighton, both in the Carabao Cup last season, but is yet to feature for them in the Premier League.
He also lined up against Northampton in the Papa John's Trophy last term while playing for Brighton's under-21 side.
"Marc can be good for us and we can be good for him," Cobblers boss Jon Brady told the club website.
"There was considerable interest in him but the fact we have been able to win the race for his signature is another tribute to the work we do with young players and the club's reputation within the game."

Northampton Town have signed Tyler Magloire from Blackburn Rovers for an undisclosed fee.
The defender has agreed a three-year contract with the Cobblers after a successful loan spell with the club last season.
Magloire, 23, came through the ranks at Blackburn, but only played seven times for them and went out on loan four times.
He is Northampton's 10th signing of the summer.
"Tyler is another of our targets secured and we are delighted he is back, this time on a permanent basis," said Cobblers manager Jon Brady.
Northampton welcome Colchester United in their opening League Two game of the season on Saturday.

Northampton Town captain Jon Guthrie has signed a new three-year deal to keep him at the club until 2025.
Defender Guthrie, 30, was included in the League 2 Team of the Season in 2021-22 and would have been out of contract at the end of the current campaign.
"Jon has been top-class for us over the last year," said Cobblers manager Jon Brady, calling Guthrie a "key figure".
"We wanted to move now to secure his services."
"In a young squad with a lot of potential, he is a perfect role model for some of the younger players."
Cobblers chief executive James Whiting said there was "a lot of interest" before the start of the season after Guthrie scored eight times in 53 appearances during his first year since joining from Livingston in 2021.
"It is a big statement from the club that we have not only turned down those repeated offers but have secured Jon on a longer term contract," added Whiting.
"Those offers were substantial and the club and the owners deserve a lot of credit for turning those down and making sure Jon stayed a Cobbler."
