Millwall have signed Dutch midfielder Zian Flemming on a "long-term contract" from Eredivisie side Fortuna Sittard for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old joined the Netherlands' top flight club in August 2020 and scored 27 goals in two seasons.

The attacking midfielder began his career with Ajax's academy and also spent two years with PEC Zwolle.

"A main aspect of why I chose to join Millwall was the interest shown by Gary Rowett," he told the club's website.

Millwall have signed Hull City's George Honeyman and Stoke City striker Benik Afobe for undisclosed fees.

Experienced striker Afobe, 29, has signed a one-year deal having been on loan at Millwall last season.

He continues his link with Lions boss Gary Rowett, who paid a reported £12m for him in 2019 when he was Stoke boss.

Midfielder Honeyman, 27, has agreed a "long-term contract" and leaves despite Hull exercising an option for a one-year contract extension.

In three seasons at Hull, Honeyman scored 10 goals in 127 appearances and helped them win the 2021 League One title.

He began his career at Sunderland where he played in the Premier League, Championship and League One.

Former Wolves and Bournemouth forward Afobe scored 13 goals in 41 appearances for Millwall last season and has played for a total of 10 clubs either permanently or on loan.

The former Arsenal youngster joined Wolves for £2m in January 2015 before moving to Premier League side Bournemouth for £10m a year later.

He returned to Wolves in a £10m deal in June 2018 but was sold to Stoke 11 days later.

Millwall have signed Leeds United defender Charlie Cresswell on a season-long loan.

The 19-year-old has made seven appearances for the Yorkshire club since his debut in September 2020.

Cresswell becomes Millwall's fourth summer signing following George Honeyman, Zian Flemming and Benik Afobe.

Striker Afobe joined from Stoke City after spending last season on loan at the Den.

Cresswell's arrival follows a day after boss Gary Rowett signed a new contract.

Last season, Millwall missed out on a play-off spot on the final day of the Championship season after finishing ninth.

Millwall have signed former Birmingham City goalkeeper Connal Trueman on a deal until January.

The 26-year-old joins after eight years at St Andrew's where he made 14 appearances.

His last game for Blues came at Nottingham Forest in April, and he has also had loans spells at Oxford United and Swindon Town in the past two years.

"He's a model pro on and off the pitch who's extremely dedicated to the game," said Millwall's Andy Marshall.

"He's already come in and slipped into the position in the goalkeeping department which has allowed Ryan Sandford to go out on loan and develop further," added the Lions' goalkeeping coach to the club website.

Millwall have signed German striker Andreas Voglsammer from Bundesliga side Union Berlin for an undisclosed fee.

The 31-year-old has agreed a one-year deal at the Championship club with an option for a further 12 months.

A former Bayern Munich youth player, Voglsammer moved to Union a year ago and scored six goals in 45 games.

But he struggled to break into the first team, starting just five league games and four of his goals came in cup competitions.

He moved to Union Berlin last summer from Armenia Biefield, where he scored 49 goals in a five-and-a-half year spell.

"My agent called me and told me that Millwall were interested. The first contact was actually a few years ago, so we've stayed in touch since then," Voglsammer told the Millwall website.

"This is the perfect timing for me to be here now."

Millwall have signed midfielder Callum Styles on a season-long loan from Barnsley, while he has also agreed a new contract with the Tykes.

The 22-year-old Hungary international has signed a new deal with Barnsley to keep him with the club to 2025.

Styles has made 129 appearances in all competitions for the South Yorkshire side, including eight this season.

While with the Tykes Styles helped them reach the Championship play-offs in 2021, where they lost to Swansea.

"Everyone at Oakwell wishes Callum the best of luck in his loan move," Barnsley said in a statement following the announcement of his move and new contract.

Styles, who scored against Ipswich in his most recent appearance for Barnsley, will be eligible for selection when Millwall take on Cardiff City in the Championship on Saturday.

Millwall striker Isaac Olaofe has signed a new contract to remain with the Championship club for the "foreseeable future".

The 22-year-old has progressed through the Millwall academy and made his debut for the Lions earlier this season.

Olaofe spent time on loan with St Johnstone in 2020 before a spell with Sutton United later that year.

He returned to Sutton last season on loan, appearing 27 times and scoring nine goals for the League Two side.

Meanwhile, Lions boss Gary Rowett has said he expects Shaun Hutchinson to be out for up to a month with a suspected groin tear that forced the defender off during the second half of his side's 2-0 win at home to Cardiff on Saturday.
